Chapter Two: Still The Beginning

I hate how my parents do that to Jace, compare them to me. It's not fair. I get that I have this amazing ability that gives me an advantage, but Jace is a college student at Crimson University, a very elite school. They had to study everyday and every night just to get their gpa up enough so they could even be accepted. I don't even get why jace is majoring in science, it is not what they're interested in at all. "I don't know, I guess I just..." said Jace. "Just what??" Asked my mother. Later in mine and Jace's room, "Jace, why are you even majoring in science? You don't like that class at all!" I said. "You know I can't switch my major, mom and dad would disapprove, since they're scientists they think I want to be one as well. I don't want to disappoint them Tal." They said. "Mom and Dad want me to be a scientist, but you don't see me even considering it." I said. "I know, but you know I can't tell them that, they'd probably disown me." They said.

They think we both want to be scientists, only one of us is giving in to that. "I'm not sure were I'd even begin with my goal. "You could maybe try telling people on social media to ask you questions, maybe you'd get something there?" Jace offered. I had never even thought of that . It might work. "Huh, I've never thought of that before. It might just work." I said. I started thinking of what I might get asked, or if people would even believe me. Who knows, they might all just think I'm a crazy lunatic, or worse, a liar. It's not like I have a massive following either, I only have 99 followers combining all of my social media accounts together. Lets say it does end up working, where would I go from there?? People would have to be really trusting and stupid to even believe me if I did tell people that I had these powers without even showing them at all. Unfortunately they were right. "I'm going to ask people all over social media to ask me questions about themselves, ones in which are not findable on the internet or social media, it will take exactly one hour for the post to gain traction, even with my total following on social media."
