Jisoo’s POV

I served grilled chicken with sautéed broccoli on the table. Nabi happily munched on the food.

“love, slow down…no one’s going to steal your ice cream on the fridge” I said as I look at how she was eating faster than usual. I knew she wanted to eat her favorite dessert already.
I kissed her temple and she just smiled at me as we continued to eat.

I nearly forgot about the incident a while ago as I was happy being with my kid.

After we ate, she played with her toys as I wash the dishes.

Not long after, the doorbell rang. I narrowed my eyebrows. Who would come into our house this late?

“I’ll get it mommy!” Nabi said as she ran to the door. I immediately stopped what I was doing and followed my daughter. I am not a careless mother that I would just let my kid interact with whoever without me knowing.

I almost lost my balance when I saw the person standing in the doorway and as if wondering her eyes inside my house. I saw how my daughter was so surprised that she immediately hugged the woman’s leg.

No no no this can’t be happening. This must be a nightmare.

“Pretty lady!!!” Nabi screamed

I hold at my chest. I can’t breathe…
She’s here and my daughter was hugging her. Seeing Nabi very much engrossed at this woman is so much of a torture for me.

What the hell is she doing here? I-I should call the police

“Hi” She said with a soft voice looking down at my daughter and her eyes were shining with…longing?
What the actual f*ck! Is this psycho planning to take my daughter away from me? I’ll kill her!

“What are you doing here pretty lady? You came to eat some ice cream? Come we still have in the kitchen” Nabi said all smiles and grabbed the woman's hand pulling it to the kitchen.

I was left standing there not knowing what to do. I aggressively bite my lower lip. I never thought a day like this would come. I thought my daughter and I would be living in peace 'cause all these years I presumed that I was free from the past events of my life. I never thought this would hunt me down again.

"Mommy! Come and join us to eat some Ice Cream!" Nabi motioned to me and how I badly want to yank her away from that woman and ran away from this place as fast as I can.

I flinched when I saw how the psycho stare at me...innocently? and then averted her gazed back to my daughter who merrily ate some ice cream with her, smudges on the corners of mouth.

I can't sit comfortably nor can I look at them. We have to get away from here. We need to leave as soon as possible.

"Mommy?" I suddenly heard my daughter calling me. I look at her and I then realized she was sitting at the psycho's lap.

My eyes widen and felt my hand started shaking uncontrollably.

"Why is your hand shaking?" She asked. I nervously gulp.

"N-nothing love, I'll just grab a glass of water" I said and quickly stood up.

I need to control myself.

'Breath Jisoo. You can't be like this. Your daughter needs you. Be strong.'

I talked to myself and drank the water.

She can't threaten me again. I would kill her before she could do something to me and my daughter.

I grabbed the small swiss knife at the corner and hid it inside my pocket. I then took a deep breath before going back.

"Here pretty lady, you should eat more" Nabi said and offered a spoon full of ice cream to the psycho who just smiled and gladly took it in her mouth.

I closed my fist. The nerve of this woman to act so kind in front of my daughter like as if she did not do horrible things to me!

If it wasn't for my daughter, I would have called the police for this psycho.

Nabi's watch suddenly made sound signalling that it was time for her favorite show.

"Mommy! It's Animal Planet time! You take care of pretty lady please? I'll be back later pretty lady! it's the penguins tonight! I can't miss it! promise me you'll wait for me?" she said and raised her pinky finger to her, and the psycho smiled as she nodded and latched her pinky finger to my daughter.

Nabi then ran upstairs and to her room.

"They said that there is a vein in the pinky finger which is direct to the heart, I wonder if it is true? what do you think Dr. Kim?" She said and I almost choked at my own saliva.

"What the f*ck are you doing here?!" I asked as I stared at her with beaming eyes. I wanted to let her know that I wasn't scared of her. I wasn't like before, I won't let her control me again.

"I-I'm sorry if I came at the wrong time. I should have waited in the morning to come here. It was so rude of me." She said looking down.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"what the f*ck are you saying?" I glared at her.

"You dropped your pouch at the mall. I wanted to wait until morning to return this but I have work tomorrow so I decided to come to you at this late. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable of me being here. I must be looking creepy to you right now."

What on earth is this psycho mumbling about?!
Is she trying to act innocent again so I could fall for her trap? Oh please she should know better. I had enough experience already to be able to know all her tactics.

"You know what? f*ck you! Get out of my house before I call the police and get you arrested!" I screamed and tried to push her out but she tried to resist.

"I- what did I do?" She asked looking puzzled.

The f*ck. Is she really going to continue pretending?! I have enough of this nonsense. I took out the swiss knife in my pocket and pointed it at her.

"Y-Yah! w-what are you doing?" She asked looking scared while she raised both of her hands in the air.

"I will slit your throat open if you will not leave my house" I said while seriously pointing the knife at her.

Her eyes widen and gulp.

"But I d-didn't do anything..I was just going to r-return your pouch.." She said stuttering

I wanted to laugh at her reaction. I can't believe I just scared the psycho. But of course this is not the right time for that.

"1..." I started counting while walking closer to her.

She then started backing away while her hands were still in the air.

"If it is about me v-visiting this late, I-I am truly sorry...p-please forgive me" She pleaded and I glared at her more

"2..." I continued counting and still walking near her while she is still backing away

"Look i-it won't happen again. H-here take your pouch" She said nervously and handed me my pouch. I quickly took it.

"S-so...are we good now?" She asked hopefully.

I smirked and still aimed the knife at her.

"Out!" I said sternly and push her outside while slamming the door closed.

"Yah! Kim Jisoo! this won't be our last meeting!"

I heard her from outside and I immediately covered both my ears. Please not again..
