New Start (Sequel of Obsession)

Jisoo clench a fist as she eyed the woman in front of her. Why in hell will she have to meet her numerous times. Why is it that everytime you want to avoid someone, you go meet them unexpectedly instead. It's quite displeasing.

Fear and sadness were in the woman's eyes as Jisoo stared at her. Her hands are also shaking uncontrollably and it's making her uncomfortable. Is this the same psycho who made her suffer in the past? Why is she acting like a fragile person who was close to breaking down?

"I-I am looking for my mom. Do you know where she is?" Jennie asked sounding desperate.

Jisoo was taken a back for a moment. Did she just hear her beg?

She shook the thought away and proceeded to walk away after muttering a few words..

"follow me"

Arriving at the room, Jisoo step back and gestured for the woman to open the door herself. Jennie nodded like an obedient puppy and gently twisted the doorknob open.
A loud gasp was heard when Jennie caught a glimpse of her mother laying in bed. Tears covered her eyes and she immediately ran towards the bed.

"eomma! eomma wake up!" she wailed while continuously pounding her mother's chest thinking she just left her.

"apa"

Jennie stopped when she heard her mother spoke.

"eomma?" she asked shocked and witnessed how her mother's eyes falls open.

"I'm still alive honey" Her mother said and rubbed her chest

"yah! don't scare me like that! I thought you are dead" Jennie cried loudly again making her mom chuckle.

"Aigoo you big baby. Stop crying, you don't look nice when you cry" Her mom said and it earned a slap from the latter.

"what happened to you?" Jennie asked concerned

"I just passed out in the middle of a crowd. You know I don't do well around so many people." Her mother said

Jisoo was just observing everything. She was standing beside the door and was looking through the whole mother and daughter interaction. She just realized that the woman she accompanied awhile ago was the same woman who she met in the past. The psycho's mother who's actually really nice, far from her daughter's psychotic attitude and her wife's mentally unstable personality.
She already forgot her name tho. as she desperately wanted to let go of the past but she was sure that her name wasn't Agnes Kim from what she heard a while ago. She has this strange feeling that she changed her name.

"Why were you outside then? I thought you are at home. I almost died thinking of so many horrible things when somebody called me about what happened to you."

"Arrasso arrasso. I won't do it again. Stop worrying about me" Her mother said and tapped her shoulder.

Jisoo furrowed her eyebrows hearing the old woman's words. Why was she lying about passing out infront of a crowd not inside a plane? Was she leaving the country without her daughter knowing? Does her daughter know about her condition?
So many questions occupied Jisoo's mind but she remained mute as she was in no position to say anything related to their family issues.

"I'm your daughter! it is normal for me to worry about you eomma. Please take care of yourself and don't get hurt" Jennie burst out loudly causing the little girl who was sleeping soundly on the sofa to be startled.

The girl confusedly look at the person who was making all the noise and her eyes fell wide open when she realized who the person was.

"pretty lady?" she muttered almost a whisper but it never failed to reach the woman's ears.

"Nabi? Nabi baby is that you?" Jennie wiped her tears away and smiled at the girl.

Jisoo almost forgot that her daughter was just at the corner of the room. Before Jennie could get near her daughter, she immediately grabbed the little girl and carried her to her arms.

Jennie frowned at the action and sadly stare at her.
"Am I still not allowed to talk to her?" she asked with her defeated voice.

Jisoo almost cringe at what she saw. Is this really happening? why on earth was this woman acting so strange?

"We are leaving, since you're already here to take care of your mom" she said and turned around but Jennie was quick to grab her arm.

As soon as Jisoo felt her skin on her arm, she immediately shake it away.
"don't touch me!" a flash of the past echoed through her head. She felt dirty just by her little touch. It wasn't a good feeling.

Shock was written all over the woman's face at the sudden burst out but she decided brushed it away.

"I just want to take you guys out to dinner." Jennie said hopefully.

Jisoo blink twice at what she heard. Seriously? after everything, she was asking for a dinner?

"Think of it as a way of saying thank you. For helping my mom" Jennie said sounding sincere

Jisoo remained silent for a few moments until she felt a tug in her shirt from her daughter who was gesturing her to give her answer already.

"N-"

"yes pretty lady! dinner!" Nabi squealed making Jisoo's eyes widen.

She wasn't suppose to agree but her daughter interrupted her. Now it would be embarrassing to refuse especially because the psycho's mother was witnessing the whole conversation.

An unfortunate event brought them together again.
