its just a simple crush-

hu tao pov:

"Ugh... why do things have to end like this? Summer was way too short for me." I groaned.

Hey, at least that you get to see your friends again, Hu Tao. But wait- you them during the summer- . I thought to myself.

I went to my locker and saw Lumine's locker was next to mine. "Oh! look who it is!" I said. The blonde girl has turned her head to the side. "Hu Tao! Its been too long."
Its been a while since I saw Lumine. I missed her. Well I mean, I miss my other friends as well.

"Ew-" I peeked my head to see what was in her locker. "What is that, Lumine-?"

Lumine hestitated for a moment. I sighed, until thats when Xiao walked by which made my cheeks turn red. Lumine looked at me.

"Ooooh~ someone has a crush, aye?"

Her words made me jump a bit making me blush even more. "N-No I don't!" I said while shakinf my head in disagreement.

"Its quite obvious, not gonna lie. If you do have a crush on Xiao, then you can just tell him! You gotta tell him before he gets someone else, Hu Tao."

Its just a simple crush I thought. Wait! No No No No No! I can't tell him yet! I don't even know what I'm thinking! Come on Hu Tao, you gotta focus on school first! I thought to myself.

I sighed. "Lumine! Its not that simple to tell someone that you like them knowing that

they probably won't like you back." I repiled.
The blonde girl let out a sigh. "What if he does like you back. You never really know." Lumine repiled. What if he doesn't? I thought.

"Anyways, not gonna lie, I really like these uniforms." Lumine said as she closed her locker and got ready to go to her class. I let out a sigh and and put my backpack inside of my locker.

The bell rang and I noticed that I have math class first. "Ugh... I really hate math..." I groaned.

"Why the groan?" I turned my head to see Xiao.

"O-Oh.. its nothing. By the way, are you, following me?" I asked. Xiao nodded. "Yes. Apparently I have math class for first period as well."

My face became red. OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD. XIAO HAS THE SAME CLASS, AS ME!? I thought. "Hey. Is something wrong? You look like your sick." Xiao gave me a confused look. "N-No! Everythings fine!"
I repiled.

Xiao put his hand on my forehead. "You seem a little feverish."

"I'm fine, really." I said as I brushed his hand off my forehead.

As we got to our class, I sat down in my seat. Thank god I wasn't in the very front, but in the third row. "So is Xiao..." I mumbled.

"Alright class, settle down, I need to take role."

Can this year get any better? I thought.
"Hu Tao?" First, I got to see Lumine, and now Xiao is in my class!

"Hu Tao!" I opened my eyes to see that everyone was staring at me. Even Xiao.
"Oh- heheheh...- right. Here!" I said. Gosh, I was too caught up in my own buisness, That I forgot to say "here."

I let out a sigh. Again. Until I got a folded note thrown on my desk. Who can this be from? I thought.

I unfolded the note and read "You should really pay attention more."

I looked the side and saw Xiao tapping his pen on his desk and staring at me. I already knew that I was in deep trouble. I layed my head on my desk and covered my face with my arms, blushing. I heard a small laugh and looked to the side of me again to see Xiao laughing a bit. "Is he blushing...?" I mumbled.

"Hu Tao. Please pay attention." I nodded.
"Yes... Sorry Mr. Zhongli..." I opened up my notebook and started to solve the problem.

I need to stop thinking about him. I thought.

I heard a small laugh, and I already knew that it was Xiao.

After class...

"Aya... class was a real pain. Now I have so much homework to do... hmph." I pouted. "I really hate today-"

"Why the pout, hm?" I felt someone tap my shoulder. I look behind me to see Keqing. She's the school vice president of the student council, along with Ganyu, Kazuha, Raiden, and Xiao.

"Keqing...-" I groaned. "Need food again?"
I nodded.

"Keqing! Hows the student council going so far??" I asked. "Well-" Keqing was cut off for a second. "May I sit here?"

"Xinyan!" Xinyan in the music club which means that she's in band. "Its been awhile! Of course you can sit here!"

Xinyan took her seat next to Keqing. "Hows student council?"

"Its been going good... a sorta crazy though.."
"Why?" I asked. "Oh, no reason." I felt a sharp tap on my shoulder. "Yea Xinyan?"
"Uhh, Hu tao? I think you got a big problem...-" Keqing and I just stared at her confused. "Why's tha-"

I just froze. Xiao and Ganyu? I didn't know what to think or say. I felt a sharp pain as i grabbed my chest with my hand.

Everything hurts. "Hu tao? Are you alright?" Xinyan asked.

"Y-Y-Yea... everythings... alright.."

I got up from my seat, and I could barely even walk. My chest hurts. My whole body hurts. Everything hurts. I can barely walk. I tried avoiding Xiao but I felt someone grab my wrist. I turned my head to see who it was. It was Xiao. But I couldn't see him clearly.
"Hu tao, are you alright?"

The pain kept on getting worse as I kept grabbing my chest with my hand. "Hu tao? Is everything ok? Are you feeling alright?" He asked.

"Ugh..." The pain gets worse and worse almost every minute or so.

"Hu tao?" My vision was getting even more blurry. The second I knew, I collapsed. Sweating. I can't see anymore.

"HU TAO!?" I heard Xiao's voice but I couldn't
see him anymore.

Soon after that, everything has went black.

I woke up. In the infirmary? I rubbed my eyes to see Lumine, Keqing, Xinyan, Ganyu, and of course, Xiao. Lumine quickly hugged me. "OH MY GOD HU TAO, ARE YOU ALRIGHT!?"

"What.. happened-?" I asked. "Well, it seemed like you were having a panic attack or something."

P-P-P-Panic a-a-attack? Hu tao, what is wrong with you!?

"I need to talk to her. Alone." Everyone looked at Xiao. "I said I need to talk to her alone."

"See you later, Hu tao." Keqing said as everyone left the room. Xiao sighed. "You alright?"

I nodded. "Xiao." I said. "Hm?" I sighed. Obiviously I didn't want to tell him but I have to anyways. "Do you like Ganyu?" I asked. Xiao stayed silent. "No, I only like her as a friend. Why would you think that?" He asked.

"Oh... no reason." Xiao looked down at the ground. "Are you alright? I asked. Xiao walked to me and hugged me. "Xiao..?"

I heard silent crying. "Xiao..." I hugged him back. Oh, this is nice.

I wonder if Xiao likes me back.
