"Please! Help me!" The woman cried out as the robber pulled a gun on her.
Passersby kept their head down and walked faster, pretending they didn't hear anything.
"Pplease don't. " the woman sobbed and the robber pulled the trigger but the bullet never reached her.
For Speedy it was as if time had stopped. She ran up to the man and turned the bullet, aiming it for his leg. Then she stopped moving and time started again.
The man cried out in pain, holding his leg and falling to the ground and the woman ran away in fright.
A whizz was heard as a shield was thrown. Speedy caught it and it was inches from her head. "You're too late, I already dealt with the bad guy. " She smirked.
"Who said I was aiming for the guy?" Calie replied.
"Capt'n you know you would never hurt me. " Speedy grinned sticking out her tongue.
"Wouldn't I?" Calie said catching her shield when Speedy threw it.
"Well it seems you guys didn't need our help. " Nina said walking with Ella towards them.
"And I'm the one who heard the woman's cries from miles away." Ella said.
"Okay Whatever... we're sorry we didn't wait for you but the job is done so... How about pizza when we get home?" Speedy suggested
"Race ya?" Ella said.
All four of the girls smiled and looked at each other knowingly. "On Your mark, Get set... Go." They all said as they sped their way home.
