John looked down at the girls and he actually started to feel sorry for them... but this needed to be done. "Lisa, get in here!" he called out.
Lisa, his lab assistant hurried in with a tray of needles. "How long have they been out?" she asked, pushing her glasses onto the bridge of her nose.
"About fifteen minutes." He said while putting on his surgical gloves. "You have to take out the bullet out of her back before we start." He said gesturing to Calie.
"She's lucky she didn't get infected." Lisa muttered under her breath. Lisa put on her gloves before lifted Calie's shirt to see the the gun shot wound.
It was currently bleeding badly and the surrounding skin started to turn dark purple. Lisa started to clean the area so she could see what she was doing. When she was done, she opened the wound slightly bigger and began to pull out the bullet and stitched up the wound. Luckily for Calie the bullet wasn't too deep but it was resting on her spine.
"Okay let's begin." John said. He gave all the girls another injection. Then the beeps of the heart monitors started to gradually slow down.
Lisa then gave them a strange and dangerous serum. Then the heart monitors started to speed up very quickly.
"You think this is going to work this time?" Lisa said nervously.
"It has to, if it doesn't well we don't have any hope for this city."
John and lisa then gave the girls each a different injection.
The girls started to convulse before their heart rate slowly went back to normal.
"Okay, now we just have to wait." John said, checking all the straps on their arms and legs.
"How will know if it has worked." Lisa whispered.
"Oh, we will know."

Calie was the first one to wake up. She started coughing and gasping for air and then she tasted a metallic taste in her mouth. Blood... "Someone, please help me." She croaked out, trying to get up. She felt a sharp pain in her back and gasped. Calie's lungs were screaming every time she took a breath. Her hands and feet were undone from the straps, so when turned onto her side, she fell off the table and onto the cold ground onto her back. Calie's eyes snapped shut as pain shot through her body and a scream came from her mouth which made her chest hurt.Lisa opened the door and rushed to Calie. "Are you alright?"
Calie opened her eyes and shot daggers at Lisa, "Does it look like I'm alright?" She hissed through gritted teeth.
"I'm going to give you an injection to help with the pain." Lisa said.
"What the hell did you do to me?" Calie rasped.
"John! Calie is up." Lisa called out.
John walked in and lifted up Calie bridal style. Calie took in a sharp breath at the sudden movement. John carried her out of the room and into a white room with a large machine.
"What's that?" Calie groaned.
"You're going to have an MRI" John said before laying her down into the machine.
John left with lisa and then the machine started to make a lot of noise and Calie closed her eyes. "What did you do to me?" Calie cried out.
*****
Aria, Nina and Ella woke up and found Calie missing."Where is Calie?" Aria whispered.
"Oh my gosh, why are you talking so loud?" Ella said, rubbing her temples.
