Silver Night {Fairy Tail}

chaper seven

"He ya boyfriend?" Brandy asked me kind of loudly and I slapped a hand to her mouth

"NO NO NONONONOO~ childhood friend, that's all!!!!!" I said as we stepped through the doors and Airry who was walking backwards, bumped into somebody

"Ah! I'm sorry!" She said turning around and I gasped and jumped at the small little blonde girl I was the best of friends with once

"KOURI~!!!" I cried smashing her into a hug. She hugged back and it was the reunion of lost friends that day

"I've been looking for you" I said backing away from the hug, she burst out in tears

"It's been so long, since that day you left training, and  we all missed you, ha even lyon and Ur...." her smile weakened and she stopped talking. I tilted my head a little

"Did something happen when I left?" I asked, she froze and hesitated before nodding

"Yeah, Ur died..." tears dripped from her sweet face and she wiped them away "we shouldn't talk about it now..." I stood there shocked, Gray didn't mention anything.

I felt something land on my head, I looked up and saw sky. I smiled and took Kouri's hand and I motioned her to go to a little Cafe, where we could talk about stuff. Airri and Brandy walked away saying they wanted to go look at other shops. I nodded, and waved as eyes walked away. Kouri, Sky, and myself entered the cafe and sat down.

"So, how have you been. I mean I haven't seen you since I was ten or how ever old I was" I laughed.

"I'm fine, I joined fairy tail about a year ago, because I needed money to live and Gray was there. What have you done?" She asked

"I have been traveling around getting stronger with my ice magic and trying  to find Silver." We chat for a while about things like what has changed or what is still the same about us from back when we were younger.

"What happened to Ur" I said suddenly and Kouri became quiet.

"I'm not real sure myself... but, here's what I know..."

(Kouri's Pov)

---Flashback---

Gray burst open the door with all of his stuff, and  I grabbed his hand making him turn and look at me. His face had a determined, angered expression .

"Where are you going?" My small little voice squeaked. He just pulled his hand back and ignored me walking out the door. "Gray..." I said quietly, tearing up. "Come back!" I said loudly for my quiet self. And I ran out the door after him.

"Gray, Kouri, come back in, it's a blizzard out there" Ur said sternly through the doorway. I looked up at her with my arms wrapped around Gray's arm, holding him back.

"No. I'm going to defeat Deleora" Gray said, Ur didn't like that and neither did  I. I tried to stop him but her slipped from my grasp. I fell face-first into a large amount of snow and Gray ran. Ur was yelling for him to come back and I lifted my head and Lyon was helping me up. His face worried as well. Ur told us to stay inside as she ran after Gray. Lyon had the same thoughts as me, since we both ran after Ur and Gray.

As we ran, Lyon ran ahead leaving me to guess where  i had to run. The blizzard was making this the worst. As I neared where Deleora was I saw the snow turn to flames and destruction. There were buildings falling and people sprawled out, dead on the ground.

I ran more into town.  Tears spilling down my face, hopeing none of my family was dead. I ran and saw Lyon on the ground motionless, I freaked out and dropped down next to him. Thankfully he had passed out. When I looked up I saw white. A bright light, swirling snow, white magic. Everything that was happening scared me, I hid my face in my knees. I didn't dare look up.

I listened for anything. I heard fire, the blizzard howling, Gray shouting, and Deleoras cries. I wanted everything to end, to just stop and go back to normal.

Deleora's cries had stopped. Gray wasn't shouting anymore. I looked up. Deleora was frozen in a large amount of ice. I saw Gray crying, I slowly stood up and walked over, my knees were wobbly. So I fell when I reached him. I landed  my knees besides him. I looked around for Ur

"Gray?" I said weakly leaning my head on his shoulder, that wad shaking. "I can't find Ur, where is she?" I asked, my voice getting softer and softer. Gray tenced Lyon ran to us, he had a scared face on

"Gray, s-she didn't do it, did she?!" He said panic and fear in his voice. Gray slowly nodded

"Yeah... Ur used that spell, n-now she's... d-d-dead" Gray sobbed and I sat there in udder shock, more and more tears spilled out from my eyes. Lyon, Gray, and I sat there all crying. 

None of us had a place to go back to.

---Flashback End---

I told Glacia a shorter version of how Ur died and I watched as she battled the tears. We just sat in silence.

I'm too tired to continue and make it have a better ending. It's only midnight but I am REALLY tired rn and my brain is slowly melting. Apologies people, see you in le next chapter
