Chapter-14

I woke up with a huge headache and when I looked around the place was unfamiliar to me but then everything came crashing down to me. the auction, paper signing, and Father. 

I heard some sounds of people talking coming from downstairs. I got up and reached for the door, I was a bit scared at the thought that they locked me in the room but fortunately it was open I was glad. 

when I opened the door I saw a beautiful hallway it had lots of photos of people doing skiing or playing football and many more. I was completely in my little world until I felt a hand on my shoulder when I flinched and turn back to see who this hand belonged to.

there was this man just like Mr. Romano but a younger version so I assumed he must be his son. "hey chill, I won't hurt you, come on downstairs and meet your brothers we all missed you." he said. 

he started walking towards the stairs and I blindly followed his lead into a beautiful kitchen there were 7 men dressed in suits including Mr. Romano. Then I noticed a woman sitting beside Mr. Romano and she was very pretty. 

when they noticed my presence that woman suddenly came and engulf me in a hug, my heart was beating so fast and I didn't know what to do so eventually I put my hands around her and melted into her embrace.

" My dear child you are back!" that woman said

when she said that we both backed from the hug and I gave her a confused look. 

are they my parents? if they are I have tons of questions for them but I don't want to ruin anything so I just have to keep my mouth shut about my past. 

that woman must have noticed my confused look earlier as she said " all your questions will be answered in the due time but for now you must be hungry come sit on one of the chairs and we will introduce and have a nice meal okay?" 

"yes ma'am" I replied

she then just gestured me to take a seat and I did what she said I sat between Mr. Romano and I am guessing Mrs. Romano is that woman. 

Mr. Romano announced to the boys sitting to introduce themselves to me oldest to youngest some groaned and eye-rolled some were interested and excited to introduce themselves. 

" Luca Romano, I am 25 years old" the oldest one introduced and he had the same cold eyes as Mr. Romano (the father). 

" Stefano Romano, 21'" he said with a huge smile, I smiled back at him as well and I felt loved. 

" Leonardo Romano, I am 20, and pleasure to meet you," he said, I just gave a nod and smiled at him.

 " Allesandro Romano, 19" he said while rolling his eyes at me, I just cower into my seat. 

" Matteo Romano, I am 17," he said while giving me a bad look. 

"Antonio Romano, I am 17 too," he said a bit enthusiastically but his twin Matteo kicked him and he just cower back in his seat and did not say anything.

" so you are familiar with your brothers and they will protect you when me and your mother is not around if they say anything or does anything you don't like come immediately to me okay Ariel," Mr. Romano said. 

I responded with okay and we all continue eating silently. I mean they ate silently I was just staring at my food which Luca sir noticed and said " do you not like the food Ariel" I quickly said, " am I allowed to eat the food, Sir?"  Luca sir was about say something but he was quickly silenced by Mr. Romano. 

"yes my dear, you can eat anything you want,"  Mr. Romano said. so without wasting any time and dived into the food but I was filled very quickly as I was not used to eating this much amount of food. 

Nobody asked any questions about it as well... 

" come to my office after you have freshened up Leonardo will accompany you to my office," Mr. Romano said to me. 

My heart started beating fast as I was scared and my mind was filled with questions...
