Chapter-18

"Darling, you don't have to call me ma'am, you can call me mom" Mrs Romano said,

I could sense her sadness when she said that.

" I am sorry ma'am sorry mom" I replied to her stuttering

Everyone at the table had a small smile when I addressed Mrs Romano as mom.

Everyone made small talks at the table and finished their food, but i couldn't as because of my poor appetite. 

After everyone finished the food, the workers incharge took the dishes back to kitchen.

"Ariel meet me in the office, you and I need to have a talk." Mr Romano said.

I started shivering and shaking because I thought I was in trouble.

I think Mr Romano noticed it and said "Sunshine, you're not in trouble, I just wanna talk to you about school"

I stopped shaking when I heard that I wasn't in any trouble.

So when Mr Romano got up from his chair, I followed his lead and followed him to the i office.

The office was elegantly decorated and I sat in the chair with Mr Romano in-front of me.

He asked "I noticed that you scored A's in every subject, so I don't have to give you a speech about keeping about keeping the score good. But you need to keep these grade like this. Do you understand?"

I started shaking a bit but replied "yes I understood sir"

He seemed hurt when I addressed him as sir but that hurt me we disappeared within seconds      

"That's good, you can go to your room or you can hangout with your brothers, they would love to get to know you better" Mr Romano said

I just nodded as an acknowledgment and stood up and went out of the office. 

As i went out of the office, i directly bumped into Stefano sir and due to that impact i fell.

 "I am so so sorry Ariel, didn't see you there, are you okay?" Stefano asked while helping me stand. I brushed myself a little and smiled at him, i don't know why i felt extremely comfortable with him. 

"I am okay, you don't have to worry" i replied. 

He sighed and smiled at me "all the boys are gonna watch movie with mum would you like to join us?" 

"No its fine i don't wanna intrude you guys enjoy" i said feeling like i was a burden on them.

" hey its fine, you are not intruding come i will show you the movie room" he said with his warm smile. 

He started moving and i followed him like a small puppy, as soon as we entered the room something big jumped on me and i instantly fell on the ground, my eyes was closed and i felt something wet and sticky, i opened my eyes and saw this huge dog on top of me licking my face. 

"Max get off her NOW" mom said with authority and as soon as Max heard that he got off me. 

I got up and saw that everyone was in their sweatpants and got themselves comfortable. 

Alessandro, Antonio and Matteo were in one corner having some secret discussion, Leonardo and Stefano was talking to mom and Luca was on his phone. 

I froze at the gate not knowing what to do?, where to sit? Because this has never happened and this loving behaviour was extremely scary for me as i was scared after they realise that i am not worth it they will leave me. 

With this thought i went into daze.
