Third-person (I'm practicing so bear with me)

The beta wolf snarled lowly as it edged around the Rogue Alpha.

She, since the moment the white and black spotted wolf appeared, has raised her hand.

Both packs were quiet, staring intently at their leaders with blazing anger in their eyes, waiting for a single sign of attacking.

Leah was screaming for her idiot brother to stop, to calm down. The scream seemed to fall on deaf ears.

"Are you challenging me, pup?" The annoyed rogue snaps at the growling wolf.

She was only answered by Liam come barrelling towards to where she dodges and backhands him, knocking him unconscious without fail.

"Well then, he made his choice," Growls of Silverstone men and gasps of Silverstone women went through the field they were standing, not believing that this small-statured rogue woman who called herself an Alpha could best their beta with a single hit.

"Alpha of SilverStone, your beta attacked me, was I allowed to hit back?" The Rogue Alpha spoke calmly and confidently,

The entire field was quiet, the new and naive Alpha taking in the scene of his brother— no. His Beta, get knocked out with a swift backhand, he almost felt offended.

"How did you.." The Alpha was stunned at the display, unable to make a coherent sentence leaving his mate, their luna, to step up.

"Alpha Roan, you were challenged by our Beta and won. This is a norm for any high-ranking wolves so I don't see the fault in that,"

Roan nods and checks over the beta wolf. Leah was of course straight to his brother's side making sure he was fine, finding it hard to focus due to her mate being in such proximity.

It seemed that way for the rogue as well as she takes in a sharp breath, trying her best not to get intoxicated by the delicious scent of her mate. Roan had an instinctual need to mark her right then and there but she has to restrain herself.

She hasn't been accepted yet.

"He'll be fine, barely a scratch on him, I find this very offending," Roan glares to the still stunlocked Alpha.

His mate makes a slight move to which the Alpha straightens up

"You have to understand, the thought of my beta's sister, someone I've come to think as my own sister, to have not only Rogue as a mate but a woman. Merely the thought of it is outrageous," The redhead starts with a gruff huff and spoke very dismissively.

Roan growled lowly, no one speaks badly of an Alpha's mate. Leah shuddered, not in fear at the growl but in knowing that her mate respected her to such degree that she'd growl at the host Alpha of the gathering. It made her wolf yip with joy.

"I see. Well she is my mate, she hasn't accepted me but I am still her mate, now can we move on from the topic so we don't have this extremely personal meeting in front of my young pack members,"

The red-haired man nodded and gestures to the gate behind him

"Yes, you, my beta, and I will talk about this later in private quarters, speaking of... We shall now show you to your accommodations,"

Leah smiles at her mate's words, she felt seen and respected. As if she was already equal to the Alpha, which she would be when they got mated.

The dark-haired woman turns a shade of pink. I mean If- IF I get mated.

The Rogue Alpha took note of her mate's sudden blushing but couldn't pinpoint why she would act so flustered, so the oblivious brunette continued with the accommodating of her pack.

Leah hid in the crowd, wanting to hide her blushing face. She didn't know why she'd be thinking about mating at a time like this, especially since she didn't know if she was actually going to accept her mate, it brings up so many questions that she isn't sure she'd want to be answered.

Leah mutters to herself. "My brother just got knocked out by a woman and all I can think about is jumping her bones, what is wrong with me???"

She slapped herself to get her head on straight and helped with the accommodations of this pack that slightly reeked of what Rogues usually smelled like, oddly enough they smelled a lot better than the normal ones the temporary beta female encountered.

This got Leah thinking, she has always noted the smell of a rogue, most of them stank of dirt and damp dogs, but this so-called pack of rogues had the pleasant undertones of oak and earthy herbs. Not to mention their Alpha's amazing scent, though she thinks this was just her.

At this point, Liam had woken up a little drowsy from the hit and he stretches his aching neck. He looked around to see the Rogues moving in a unified way into their accommodations. The beta spots his sister amongst the crowd and made a beeline for her.

"Leah, what.... what happened?"

The female glares at her brother. "Well, brother of mine, you recklessly ran at an Alpha for something that we could've just sat down and talked about like normal people,"

The raven-haired man huffed annoyedly at his sister. He knew what he was doing, he was making sure that this female Alpha was really an Alpha and not just some weak wolf who hides their status behind males, his sister deserved more than that. And from his aching neck and lack of memory, he believes that this truly was an Alpha.

"Did I put up a good fight at least?" Liam asked jokingly to his sister which earned him a smack to his head making him cry out in mock pain.

"Not even! She took you out in one strike which was very impressive, like yes, for her height she's pretty stacked but you're a beta, I expected you to take more hits even if it was an Alpha," Leah exclaimed exasperatedly. She made a good point, but Liam shrugged it off since he wasn't planning to win, a single hit would've proved if she was an Alpha or not, since Liam could tell from the way they move during fights.

"Oh please sister of mine, I know you were drooling all over her when you saw that," Liam teases her expecting a very angry answer instead he gets a very quiet answer which confused the Beta until he looked at her sister more clearly.

Leah was red in the face, her mind remembering how she looked when her mate finished that fight with her strong Alpha shoulders towards her. So powerful, so strong, it made her wolf extremely horny which made the human very uncomfortable.

"Leah you're blushing!" Liam exclaimed much to her sister's annoyance.

"Thanks for pointing out the obvious," Leah rolls her eyes and looks away shyly from his brother.

The beta laughed his ass off at his sister's reaction, this was golden for him. His sister, the tomboy, was flustered because of her mate.

"Okay I get it, I get weird when I'm close to my mate, get over it weirdo, I might not even accept her anyway, we're both females and it's weird and not normal," Leah explained her voice saddening the more she talks like she didn't want to deny her mate which made Liam snort.

"Okay, I don't know how else to explain it to you except in the bluntest way possible, sister, you are definitely a lesbian and it's hella normal,"

That statement made Leah's eyes wide at her brother, she did a double-take to check if this was her play-boy brother who tries to sleep with whoever lets him and not a weird doppelganger. I mean, how did he even know what that word meant, the accused wolf barely just got around to learning about that word after a bit of research.

"How did-"

"The reason I know is not important right now! We're talking about how you wanna mate that rogue~," Liam countered quickly, avoiding the questions for his own sexuality which at that moment he didn't want to reveal quite yet.

Leah turns red at that sentence and smacks her brother strongly on his shoulder making him laugh.

"Fine, maybe I do, but moon goddess knows  that I don't wanna talk about this with you,"
