You wake up hoping to still hear the trucks so you could say bye to Alice but there was nothing but silence. You sigh as you roll out of bed stepping on unsuspecting Summer "OW!" Abigail. Wait!? You have your own bathroom!?" "Uh, duh. I mean who shares their shower with their older brother?" You can feel Summer glaring at you. "Well, besides you" you stutter nervously. You and your friends all know what happens when you make Summer angry. Glass gets broken, splinters get pulled out and people stay away from her for the next two months. "Hey, Abigail?" By the time she had finished asking the question you were out of the shower and dressed in a blood red top with dogs the colour of the sea, Jean shorts and pink
thongs. You started answering but Sam barged in saying, "get up! Alice has come to say bye!" He ran out with a big grin on his face. Summer gets dressed in your bathroom. She wears a green dress with purple slippers. You both rush down the stairs to see Alice wasn't there. You frown and go to tell on Sam. Your mum says she will talk to Sam. You and Summer exchange glances. You both sigh. "Jinx!" You both say at the same time. Your mum immediately yelled your name three times then Summer's. You slowly lope up the stairs with Summer behind you. Just as you touched the door knob there was two meows. You opened the door to see two kittens. One had a box that said your name, the other said Summer's. You both gasp. "Sam must of been luring us out of my room so he could sneak them in!" You blurted out. "Yeah!" Summer rushes to her kitten and says, " I'm calling mine Starla!" You walk to yours. " I'm gonna call mine Rocky!" The kitten meowed in agreement. There was a knock on the door. "Come in!" You call.
