I have invented Lauren, Jenny, and most other characters. I also came up with Bellpoint Manor and any of its experiences and spirits. Please don't steal. I do not own Ghost Adventures or any one in the GAC, but I do own any interactions that they have with my OC's.

Lauren's PoV~

I roll out of bed with a groan. My phone is ringing on the bedside table beside me, and I quickly answer it without looking to the caller id.

"Hello?" My voice was raspy from sleep, and I rub my eyes in the hopes to be more awake.

"Laur, are you still asleep? It's practically 11!" My best friend, Jenny, laughs through the speakers.

"I was, until you oh-so-rudely interrupted my wonderful dream!" I groan, getting up and heading for my bathroom.

"Sorry, beautiful. Anyway, it's time for you to get up and do shit with your life! Come out with me tonight!" I can practically hear the smirk she most likely was wearing.

"I can't, Jenny. You know how serious Michael is about work. I can't take another night off." I turn on the shower and run a hand through my hair.

"Ugh! Fine! Have a good time with your ghosties!" She groans, hanging up.

I shake my head and turn on some music, before getting into the shower.

When I get out I get changed into a grey and black tee shirt and ripped skinny jeans. I blow dry and brush through my hair, before pulling the brown, wavy locks into a ponytail.

I put on natural looking makeup, and check my phone for anything new.

I have a missed call from Michael, my boss, and I quickly call him back as I grab my wallet and keys and head for my car.

"Hello?" He answers, and I try not to roll my eyes at the sound of his voice.

"Hey, Michael, you called?" I ask, sliding into the drivers seat of my black 2012 dodge charger.

"How far away are you?" He asks, and I do roll my eyes this time.

"I'm leaving my house now. I'll be there in about 5 minutes. What's up?" I can tell something is on his mind, and whether that's a good or bad thing, I haven't decided yet.

"There are some guys coming here to investigate, and they want to hear about your experiences." He says, and I can tell he's practically bursting at the idea of more business.

"Alright, be there soon." I hang up, and drive as average as I can.

I'm not particularly thrilled about the idea of talking to people about my paranormal experiences at Bellpoint Manor, but I also didn't want Michael to get mad and fire me.

I pull in the parking lot and get out of my car, pushing a strand of loose waves out of my face. I walk up to the manor, looking up in the windows.

I spot a little girl in one that I know leads to a bedroom, and I smile.

As I open the door, I see three men, two holding big professional looking cameras.

One of them was bald, with a longish beard and bright, happy eyes. He's slightly on the heavier side, but had a funny, sweet demeanor to him. Another had brown hair, with a close shaven, almost stubble like beard and mustache. He was more muscular than the first guy, and had a protective, friendly look to him. He smiled brightly at something the first man had said and I felt my lips tug up slightly.

The final guy was by far the most attractive of the trio. He had big muscles, similar to the second guy, and had black hair spike up in a fin-like style. He wore a black shirt with a grey cross on it, and black jeans with black shoes.

I stand in the background, not wanting to get in the way of their shots.

"Bellpoint Manor is known as the most haunted location in all of Massachusetts. Located only minutes drive from Boston, it is now used for tours and paranormal investigations, run by it's current owner, Michael Palona." The man says into the cameras and I bite my lip.

"You must be Lauren." He says turning to me after the other men turn off their cameras.

"Yes, I am." I answer, shaking his outstretched hand.

"I'm Zak Bagans, this is Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin. We have a show called Ghost Adventures, and we were hoping to interview you for our show. We were told you have some pretty interesting experiences in this manor." He says, and I nod, liking the sound of his deep voice.

"That is correct. I guess I could tell you some of my experiences. There are a lot though, and not all of them are friendly." I explain, picking at my black painted nails.

"How so?" He asks, motioning at the others to roll camera.

"Well, this place definitely has some presences here that like to make themselves known. Most are just playful spirits, and I believe one of them is the daughter of Carl Lonic, the original owner of the house. Her name was Julie-Ann. I usually come in contact with who I believe is her upstairs in her old room." I say, watching him for a reaction.

"What do you mean, come in contact with?" He asks, his hands crossed in front of his chest, accenting his biceps.

"I've seen her apparition, I've caught EVP in there, and I've felt her grab me. She usually clings to my leg or grabs my hand." I answer his question.

"You've caught EVP?" He's obviously surprised, and I chuckle slightly.

"Yes, in a place like this, you can catch quite a bit of evidence of the paranormal." I smile.

"What did you capture?" He was quite interested now.

"Up in Julie-Ann's room, I caught an EVP that sounded like a little girl, who I believe to be Julie-Ann, saying "Mommy" clear as day." I say, quite proud of myself.

"Are you serious?"

"Yep, completely. See the thing about Julie-Ann is, she died at a very young age. She got sick and passed away when she was only seven. Her mother had died not days before. So I believe what happened was she thought I was her mother."

Zak turned to the camera that was held by Aaron, I think.

"Wow." He said, nodding.

"Yeah, and there are plenty more experiences that, not only I, but other employees here have had." I say.

"You said something about bad experiences earlier?" He asks and I nod.

"Yes, down in the cellar. I refuse to go down there alone." I inform him.

"What happened down there?" He asks, and I take a deep breath.

"I was attacked. It happened when I was down there one time, showing a group around, and I was telling them about Sam Bremmer, a gentleman that had shot himself down there. I felt this cold- feeling around me, and I had pulled out a recorder I had with me, and I was asking about who was there with us. I felt a burning on my back, and a rock was thrown across the room toward my group. What I didn't know at the time was that I had caught an EVP that said "I'll kill you."" I bite my lip, trying not to get emotional.

"Are you alright?" Zak asks, and I nod my head.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll be fine. It's just that, I've been working here for about 15 years now, starting as volunteer work when I was in high school. I'm now 32, so I have a connection to the spirits here, and knowing one of them is malicious, it just... It's hard to know that you have both innocent and evil in one space, coexisting." I explain, hoping I didn't look totally stupid.

"I totally understand. Listen, you seem to know quite a bit about this place and it's spirits. Do you think you could give us a tour, show us some of the most active places on the property?" Zak asks, and I quickly agree.

Anything for this ghost hunter.
