Sitting in the passenger seat of my black charger, I fiddle with a ring on my finger and watch as Zak leaves my now old house with a suitcase rolling behind him.

"This is the last one." Zak says, smiling at me, before packing it into the backseat and jogging around to the drivers seat.

He starts the car and I smile as No by Meghan Trainor begins to play from the stereo. I start singing along, giggling as Zak joins in on the chorus.

"My name is No. My sign is No. My number is No. You need to let it go. You need to let it go. Need to let it go."

Zak begins to wag a finger around with the words and I guffaw in laughter. His face is serious, but joking; his lip is curled almost comically into a grin, his eyes shimmering, and his voice wavers as he holds in his laughter.

"So, what's your name again?" I ask, biting my lip as the song ends.

"No, bitch." He laughs loudly, pulling out of my driveway and following the van with Nick and Aaron and their equipment.

I laugh along and rest my head back against the headrest of my seat. My eyes wander out the window of the car, watching what used to be my home pass by.

This place held so many emotions, it was a cauldron of memories- both good and bad. Every tree and streetlight hid another thought, another thing that I would miss. But at the same time, there were things here I wouldn't miss.

With all of these memories and emotions, I had learned valuable life lessons, and now I was prepared to leave everything behind in order to live a new life with Zak and the boys. The show would be a new adventure, traveling and investigating the paranormal.

My eyes lidded slightly, growing tired. They felt heavy and I yawned softly, placing a hand in front of my mouth.

"If you're tired, you can sleep." Zak reaches over and turns the music down to a nearly inaudible decibel.

I nod, closing my eyes and curling up in the seat, trying to get into a comfortable position. I feel Zak's hand grab mine softly, rubbing patterns with his thumb and I smile.

This was exactly what I wanted in this relationship, just a happy feeling of comfort. I didn't want to feel like I had to try hard to be perfect, and I didn't want to tiptoe around him. I wanted to be able to be myself.

Falling asleep in the car was a surprisingly easy feat, and I was soon snoozing in the passenger seat. About an hour passed, and I awoke to metal playing softly through the speakers of the car.

"This is a good song." I hum, opening my eyes to look over at Zak.

He glances over at me and I can't help but smile at his overly happy face.

"You slept most of the way to the airport. We'll be there in a few minutes." He says, lifting my hand to his face to place a kiss to it.

I look around and notice that he's correct.

Jenny was going to be getting my car, since I couldn't take it with me. Although I loved this car, I needed a full fresh start, and the only way to get that was to cut free of old ties. This was one of the main ones holding me back. I had gotten the car with Wayne, and I was ready for it to be out of my life. I also sold all of my furniture and old possessions I couldn't fit in my suitcases. My house was up for sale now, and I was planning on using the money I get for it to get myself a small apartment in Las Vegas. For now, I would be staying with Zak at his house but I wouldn't want to overstay my welcome.

I needed to learn to stand on my own two feet again.

I stare out the airplanes window as we fly over the Strip, a look of awe more than likely gracing my features. A soft laugh is heard beside me, and I hit him playfully without tearing my eyes from the sight.
