No one’s pov

While Vale was in astonishment to see his best friend he was quickly thrown towards the corner of the room. Valir had attacked him and was in no rush to finish him off. The face of the fire tamer was in confusion, he seem familiar to him or maybe he didn't recognize him 100% because of the curse.

Vale staggered away, fighting to get his breath back while concentrating on making the spell for the adventures to have air as well. For a moment, he looked at Valir and he thought he wasn’t going to be able to fight him, but he managed to straighten up. Pure rage crossed Valir's face while thinking about all the scenarios of friendship they had when they were kids, and how it all ended due to the rivalry of their fathers.

Valir kept watching Vale while hearing a strange voice in his ear, an echo of the past: “Don’t worry, I won’t let you go, fly with me”. He charged his flames, his fists were trembling, but he was ready. He moved as fast as he could near Vale, one fast straight fire punch to Vale’s unprotected body. The wind tamer arched his body backward, falling to the ground once again. He lifted right up off his toes, while doing it he cleared the ground near him and the adventures with his wind blades.

While making space near them he uses his windblow straight forward to Valir making him jump, for one long moment his body hangs in the air. Then he landed with his hands making an explosion that made a thud that shook the ground around them.

Vale – (shouting) Valir! It’s me, your friend, Vale.

Valir – Hahahaha… Feel the heat of the inferno! (Shoots flames around)

Vale – (avoiding and attacking with wind) Please, you need to remember me!

Valir – I don’t know who you are, I’ve always been in this castle. Alone… (remembers the drawings on the walls) Are you the boy from the drawings?

Vale – (walks near him) Yes, it is I, Vale, the wind tamer. We grew up together until our parents decided to give us this mission, but they gave you a curse.

Valir – (looks at the drawings around the room and back to Vale) Because of you I have been living here my whole life. (Shoot flames to Harley and Harith’s direction)

Harley – (makes a magic shield and groans)

Vale – No! Valir, they are just children!

Valir – An eye for an eye. That’s my philosophy. If they are with you, they must mean something important to you and if I can’t take you down, I’ll take them with me.

Valir rushed to the adventures who were trying to survive with poor oxygen. While rushing he hits Vale on his hip making him fly to the corner of the room once again. He dipped and weaved right as he was about to reach Harley and Harith and burned the leonin as he tried to defend the magician. With full adrenaline on his body, he kicked Valir and made him lose his balance, making the fire tamer hit the ground. Harith step on one of Valir’s arm, made a sign to Harley to check on Vale because they only had 3 minutes before they were out of oxygen.
