No one’s pov

After a very deep and fiery discussion, the two adventurers went to their respective resting places and did not speak to each other again until the following morning. Even as they packed their belongings and went downstairs with Vale to have breakfast, neither of them spoked. Even Vale was silent, even though they had already said goodbye to the others at the Inn, it was only a few minutes later that Vale broke the tension and began to thank them for having them bring down one of the most dangerous villains of the Abyss out of the desert.

None of the adventurers responded to Vale’s speech, they just kept walking forward with their heads down. It wasn't that there was something wrong going on between them, but the decision to end each other's life was too sensitive of a subject to not think about it over and over again until you could think no more. The magician and the inspirer looked at each other from time to time until one of them decided to end this awkwardness.

Harith – Ok, this has to stop, Harley we need to work together to make this happen.

Harley – I don’t mind talking to you nor Vale, but there’s just nothing else we can talk about.

Vale – Ugh, do not discuss in my presence.

Harith – Tsk. Harley, we don’t even know where we are going…

Harley – (takes out the sacred parchment) Fine, let’s see here… (opens the sacred parchment and looks around his surroundings)

Harith – Why isn’t it working? Shouldn’t it glow?

Harley – Could you please calm down?

Vale – We still need to be careful about someone coming here, we are closer and closer to the Abyss.

Harith – Umm… I’ll take a look out, don’t worry, Harley, take your time.

Harley – Thank you (sits on the ground and starts making spells)

Everything was quite calm, so calm that even the adventurers could rest their legs while the magician kept in his memory the image of the road to the Fire Temple. Apparently, the road to the Fire Temple was not as close to the Abyss as they believed. The reality was that they deviated a bit from the road, and it seemed to be a temple that had no way out instead they had to return the same way they had gone. It was not a problem, after all, almost all the roads have been this way and the mana recovery and supplies they received were enough to be able to go to the Fire Temple, return and go to the Abyss, if necessary.

As Harley watched the road alongside Vale, Harith stood guard. When they finally saw the road, they decided to move on, accelerating their pace so that they could reach the temple before dark. Just as Harley gets up, he falls on his knees and begins to see a cave full of fire, while hearing a cry of desperation. In the distance, and a little blurry, he sees the image of a man with flame-colored hair. When he comes to back to himself, he sees that Harith and Vale are next to him trying to lift him.

The route to the Fire Temple immediately began. Harley referred to Vale to validate the image he saw in his mind. Everything seemed to fall into order. Valir was imprisoned in the Fire Temple, victim of the fight between the parents of the gods of wind and fire. The magician was already tired of so much injustice that his walk was faster than ever, he even used his teleportation. Harith and Vale could barely keep up with him at this rate, so they also used their skills to catch up. As Harley continued to use his teleportation ability to get there faster, Vale and Harith watched as his body glowed with alarming intensity. Harith took all his concentration and effort to rush in and stop Harley.

Harith – (grabs Harley) Harley!!! Calm down!

Harley – Ugh, let me go! (Hits Harith’s hand) Let me go! I need to get to the Fire Temple.
