Harith's eyes began to shed tears as he observed his partner totally changed physically, even if it was only his eyes and his hair, he knew that Harley did not have much time before being consumed by evil. Harith heard a heartbeat louder than the others, he concentrated enough to realize that the strong heartbeat was coming from inside Harley. As everyone left Chang'e's room, to make room for friends, Harith walked over and sat on the bed next to Harley. The black-haired magician looked at him with hopeless eyes.
There was no choice but to embrace the magician with all the strength in the world. Harley returned the hug, still had not lost compassion and empathy for others. He began to console the tearful warrior and tell him not to worry because he knew nothing bad was going to happen. Harith tried to get that idea into his head, but as Luo Yi said, "it would be only delaying it", if everything were already written in destiny, why did they have to go through all this? why should he have met Harley? and, worst of all ... because he had to like this pretentious, self-centered, and pushy yet kind, compassionate and skilled wizard.
Detaching himself a bit, Harith stares into Harley's eyes and once again notices the emptiness within them. However, Harley's emotions remained the same, a little hidden, but they were there. After a few moments of silence and discomfort, Harley decides to break the silence by asking him about his whereabouts.
Harley – Where were you?
Harith - … (silence)
Harley – Harith.
Harith – Umm? (looking down to the bed)
Harley – Where were you?
Harith - …I was… searching for answers. (moves his hands near his)
Harley – (notices) What answers? About me?
Harith - …yes (moves his hands closer)
Harley – (nervous) What about?
Harith – (grabs Harley’s hand) Fight it… please.
Harley – (confused and blushing) Fight what?
Harith – Promise me you will fight it…
Harley – Fight what?
Harith – Promise me!
Harley – I can’t promise something I can’t control!
Harith – Promise me you won’t turn evil! (sheds tears again)
Harley – (widens eyes) I… I can’t promise you that…
Harith – I know… (weeping) that’s the problem…
Harley – Why?
Harith – Because then I’ll have to fight you… and I will have to hurt you…or worst…
