» Skeppy's POV «

Don't forget about the game...

I woke up after two hours, startling myself when my head hit the wall. It was 4:32 p.m..

The game. I gotta go!

I trampled over Bad, falling onto the floor beneath the bed. I quickly went through my spare bag, pulling out my baseball kit. I ran into the bathroom, slamming the door shut as I quickly changed. By the time I was out of the bathroom, I was struggling to tie my shoes. I stumbled into the kitchen, filling up a bottle with water, dropping a few big chunks of ice into it. I ran back into the bedroom, almost tripping over my feet. I shook Bad awake, glancing at the clock that set on the nightstand.

4:46 p.m.

I handed him his glasses, running back into the kitchen. I heard him follow me, turning to meet his eyes.

"What's the big rush..oh, baseball game." He turned around and walked back to the bedroom.

I ran up to him, placing my hand on his shoulder.

"You can come. You'd get to see me play against one of our rivals in a huge stadium!" His eyes widened and he rushed into the bedroom to change.

After twenty minutes of struggling, we were on a public bus to the stadium. The sun was shining brightly through the clouds, the muggy morning being pushed aside. Bad was wearing his iconic black hoodie with a red stripe down each sleeve. His hand was interlocked with mine.

The large stadium was capable of being seen from the window we sat beside. The bus came to an abrupt stop, allowing passengers to exit. We slowly exited the bus, walking into the stadium.

"Well, you head to your spot in the stands. I have to head to my team, see yo up after the game.." I looked down, a little disappointed. My friend, A6d, bought him and Bad front row seating so we could see each other throughout the game, but I was still upset about having to split up.

I felt Bad grab my chin, lifting my head up to meet his gaze.

"You're going to do amazing. I'll take you anywhere you want to go after the game, but trust me, you're going to win this game." I smiled, leaning forward to close the gap between us. I pulled away first, beginning to separate myself from him. Our hands slowly went back to our sides as we walked to our designated spots.

"I love you!" I heard him shout in the distance. I felt myself begin to blush as I walked to my team.

My team was circled together in the dugout. They brought their attention to me as I set my stuff down and joined them.

"Alright team. Your loved ones and friends are probably out there. This is a huge game. Don't act stupid or make the team look bad. Do so and I'll bring your butt right back to this dugout and you can sit out the entire game." The coach had a serious look on his face.

He finished, allowing us to gear up. Our rivals were batting first. I was playing as pitcher the first round. I felt the anxiety creeping up my back. There were thousands of people in the stands. As the first batter stepped up onto home plate, I gulped.

(I don't know much about baseball so I'm greatly confused while typing)

The batter brought the bat up to his shoulder, ready to swing. I took the ball into my hand, pitching it. I heard the umpire call out a strike. I pitched two more times, striking the batter out. I smiled as the crowd cheered while the new batter stepped up. Before I pitched, I glanced over at first base, noticing Dream. He looked mad. His attention was on me, not the batter. I struck the batter out after awhile. The third batter was much easier to strike out as well.
