» Skeppy's POV «
It was Monday. The morning light filtered through the classroom windows. Nothing felt right since the game Saturday. Instead of staying with Bad the rest of the weekend, I stayed at my dorm, laying in pain. The day had already started off boring. I hadn't see. Bad this morning, and he hadn't messaged me. It was my second class of the day. Once the third bell rings, I'd be dashing out the door to the library. In fact, speaking of the bell, it rang, dismissing everyone to head towards their lockers.
I headed to the library, confused when I didn't find Bad in the library. I walked up to the librarian, asking if she had seen him.
"I'm sorry, hon. I haven't seen him at all today. Maybe he overslept or he's under the weather? Try messaging him," She continued to scroll through her computer.
I pulled out my phone, typing. I sent him a message, impatiently waiting for a response.
You
You alright love?
10:33 a.m.No response. I was worried. I decided to head downstairs to meet A6d. As I approached him, he looked mildly confused.
"Need something?" He asked as he took a few thick books out of his locker.
"Have you seen Bad at all or even heard from him?" A6d took his attention away from sorting books and onto me.
"No, I haven't seen him or heard from him. Maybe he's sick?" I slammed my foot on the ground.
"That's what the librarian said! You don't think Dream messed with him, do you?" A6d rubbed a hand on the back of his neck, thinking.
"Who knows. He might've just skipped today." I waved goodbye, heading towards the office.
The front desk lady hadn't heard from him either. She said the exact same thing A6d and the librarian said. I sighed, beginning to walk to my next class. Before class started, I attempted to message him again.
You
Bad, are you okay? Im worried about you.
11:02 p.m.He didn't respond. I ran a hand through my hair. Where could he be? Why wasn't he here?
Stop it. You're asking way too many questions.

School finished for the day. I had surprisingly ran all the way to his dorm. I pulled out the spare key from my pocket, unlocking the door. As I opened it, I noticed his bedroom door was closed.
(I didn't realize what dorms looked like till now. I don't wanna bother changing it so let's just say the schools dorms are big and provide a bathroom, kitchen, and a very, very small living room.)
I opened up his bedroom door. I found him on his bed, legs crossed. His computer was in his lap and he had a few cacti in painted pots sitting before him.
"Bad..?" I began as I stepped inside. I walked up to his bed, sitting towards the edge to avoid getting pricked by the small cacti.
"Why didn't you show up today?" I leaned forward, resting my hand on his arm. He looked up at me, sighing.
"Dream stopped by last night and said enough to scare me. I thought I'd just stay here for today to avoid seeing him," What'd Dream want? What'd he say?
"What'd he say to you?" He shut his computer, hearing the concern in my voice,
"He said, and I quote 'Maybe if you didn't help Skeppy, my job would've been completed. If I see you at school, you gladly won't bother coming back when my fists meets your body.'" I saw him shiver.
I grabbed his hand, holding it in mine.
"Why didn't you answer my texts?" His gaze left mine, blankly staring at the covers of the bed.
"He has my number. He keeps messaging me so I shut my phone off," I saw his eyes begin to tear up. I picked up the cacti, setting them on the windowsill.
I crawled over to him, wrapping my arms around him and pulling him into a warm hug.
"Don't ever let him say that to you. If he does, you come straight to me and I'll handle him." I ran a hand through his hair, the tips of our noses slightly brushing.
"I love you so much. Dream is probably just jealous of what he doesn't have. Don't ever think he can hurt you, I won't let him." I slowly leaned forward, kissing him.

I felt a lot better with Skeppy being there and assuring me that Dream couldn't do any harm. We had spent the rest of the afternoon cuddling or giving each other kisses. I had decided to go to school tomorrow, hoping Dream wouldn't bother me.
"sGeppy..?" I asked. It was around 10:30 p.m.. He had fallen asleep, but I continued to trace circles on his back. I heard him groan as he slowly turned over to face me.
"..what?" His voice was deeper. I felt myself blushing.
"What do we do if Dream is able to hurt me?" I felt him weakly place a hand on my cheek, caressing his thumb across it.
"I won't let him hurt you. Get some sleep though.." And with that he fell back asleep. I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him close as I began to drift off.
(This next part is Bad's dream which might be a bit confusing)
I opened my eyes, looking down to see I was standing in a meadow. There were a few trees. I walked forward, noticing the meadow parted into a circle. The trees hung low, providing shade over the long striped table cloth that laid on the grass. There was a boy. It was no stranger, it was Skeppy. I walked up to him, sitting beside him. I heard faint sniffles escaping him. I leaned forward, noticing he was crying into the sleeves of his light blue hoodie. As I tried to grab his hands, he said something in a loud tone. "He's watching..."
After saying the strange words, he stood and ran into the meadow. I tried to stand but I couldn't move. A tall figure stood before me. His dirty blonde hair waving in the slight breeze. His green eyes seeming as if they were glowing in the sunlight.
"I brought you here for one reason.."
His voice seemed to glitch and echo throughout the meadow. I tried moving again but I was still stuck. Where was Skeppy?
"You're ruining all my plans!" The last word seemed to echo louder, causing my eardrums to ring.
"I tried to hurt Skeppy so we couldn't win. The team continued on and we did win. Our team needs to look bad. If they do, they'll look up to me and not him."
I gulped. Did he want to hurt Skeppy? What was his problem?
"But you always come along and SCREW IT UP!" As he finished, a flame seemed to set fire in his eyes, showing the anger deep inside him.
"So in return for you screwing up my plans, I'll just haunt you. I'll make you fear me. Every person in school will laugh at how ridiculous you look for being scared of me! But that's only if you don't stop messing up my plans.."
My eyes couldn't meet his. I was scared. This was no dream, this was a nightmare. Was Dream somehow in my nightmare warning me about what would happen?
"You can go now and cry to your beloved. Just remember, I'm watching, and I'm not afraid to screw up your entire life..."
He disappeared and everything turned black, melting away at the second. I awoke, sweat dripping down my face and neck. I sat up, rubbing my eyes. The time was 3:33 a.m.. I sighed, laying back down. Skeppy was still asleep, surprisingly not waking up. I buried my head into his chest, hoping to fall asleep without a nightmare ruining my sleep. I was able to fall back asleep, no night, are taking over for the rest of the night.
