iris and drake arrived at the clearing in the woods where they saw hiccup disappeared too. It had a huge cove and a rough path heading down. They spotted hiccup giving toothless a scratch

iris decided this was the time to practice their stealth and told drake to try and get into the cove without alerting hiccup of his presence

" I know you there" he spun around and looked up to where we were stood two figures appear from nowhere " well done drake your stealth has improved a lot since the last time you tried sneaking up on me" hiccup said " that stupid stick I didn't see is." Drake said acknowledging hiccups words.

"Wow this pace is amazing Hiccup how'd you find it" iris exclaimed as she examined her surroundings, "I grew up here and as I didn't feal at home in the village so when I wasn't at the forge, I was exploring the woods, fun fact this is where I met toothless. He got stuck in here after I shot him down and damaged his tail. "that's cool" iris replies. "Come on its too early for sleep and I'm not hungry yet so let's test out your new apprentices abilities shall we." A Cheshire Cat smile appears on hiccup and iris's faces as iris shakes her hands to reveal two curved daggers and hiccup flicks his cain and its turns into a sword. Drake gulped. "Relax drake he is ill help you," iris whispered.

They attacked iris went for the neck but hiccup dodge and caught drakes sword with his own before kicking iris in the stomach with his non prosthetic leg to lower the damage of the blow. Drake swung his sword again but was blocked once again by hiccup, so he brought his second blade went for the legs which caught hiccup off guard sending him tumbling luckily it was his prosthetic leg, so it didn't cause any damage, but what drake wasn't expecting was for hiccup to drag him down with him, so drake went tumbling to the ground too. They ended up rolling over several times fighting for control until they rolled into iris's legs. Drake took the opportunity to role away and Iris put her dagger to his neck. Hiccup puts is ands on the ground palms up "oh come on now ganging up on a poor blind man, not to mention two against one I mean who decided that was fair, I thought it was us two against drake why you do me like that." He said as he took irises hand in order to stand up "oh well Mr poor blind man next time don't challenge the grate shadow mistress's apprentice especially when she has yet to test his abilities in a fight yet." "Losing to my girlfriend sucks" "you're just a sore loser love, whether it's me or anyone else on this planet." "That is true." Hiccup agreed as he leaned in for a kiss "uch guys get a room" they pulled away and iris went to stretch to loosen up the muscles she pulled during their sparing session and the boys followed her lead.

Back at the great hall

That dude was hiccup, scrawny week, thought dead hiccup seems so ruff Astrid confirmed at least our hiccup the useless is hot, you think he's single ruff continued ewww your drooling tuff says butting into the conversation and besides he seems pretty tight with the mistress of shadow
