The emperors palace was in utter madness there were looters, guards and servant's running around like mad people. It was easy enough for two figures to slip to where the soon to be emperor was. He was sat at his desk as if nothing was happening beyond the doors of his study. "The job was completed" Iris said to announce their presents the man jumped tuning around to face them. "What are you talking about you did nothing for me and therefore I owe you nothing" the man stated ignorantly. "Fine allow me to tell you, we killed the man you hired us to so now you pay us the rest of the money you owe us." "I was there when he was killed you two didn't kill him the useless blind dude with a lucky shot did, so I owe you nothing" "oh but you do see that blind dude as you call him is the dragon master he is one of the best assassins we have" "hahaha you don't expect me to believe that, do you?" "Yes we do" a voice from behind the ignorant emperor said, the emperor turned around to find the same blind man from the arena stood right in front of him, the same stick the same voice the only difference was the man from the arena's clothes were torn and what you would expect of a peasants clothing where as the man in front of the emperor now looked like the devil himself, the black armour, in a pattern he had never seen, it looked like it was made out of scales, the cloak night black supporting a hood going down over the eyes and if you managed to see past the hood you would mearly see a wicked smile plastered on the mask. He was the spitting image of what you would expect the devil to wear. "I believe you owe me money or my friend here will happily slip the dagger she has hidden in her sleeve and slick it through your hart" "ye-yes right way sir" the now terrified emperor says in a stuttering voice "good" Hiccup nodded at Iris, Iris walked forward and grabbed the money that was placed on the table, she opened up the pouch, counted the money and then cleared her throat "pleasure doing business, and long may you rain" Hiccup mockingly bowed and turned and let the shadows eat him up "what he said" Iris stated mocking bowing and leaving Jess close on her tale. The emperor stood there white as a sheet his eyes fixed to the shadow that they disappeared into.
