It had been 3 years since Rome and the base there was in full swing, they had gone on a few missions whilst they were there and were called back halfway through their stay, and by them, I mean hiccup and iris (you can never get one without the other these days), Jess stayed in Rome as she too was sent on a mission. Kojo was now a graduate like Jess meaning iris and hiccup were now officially successful masters.
Kojo was once iris's apprentice who was sent out to iris after they got the base in full swing.
The four of them were friends, if there was a big job needing handled and there was a lot of money in it those four would be the ones to be sent out, they all work well together.

Congratulations on passing the classes now the real fun begins after all there is no class that can teach you more than real life experience especially real-life experience with me and hiccup, you must be the best in your class to have landed a spot with up after all the missions we get sent on are practically suicidal but thats what happens when you are good at what you do.
