This book is lovingly dedicated and was inspired by one of my best friends. She is like a mother to me and I cherish our friendship. Sandy "Mama Bronco" Robertson, this one's for you ❤

Sandy is a lion and some folks call her Sandy Dandy. Because she has a sweet tooth, some even call her Candy Sandy.

She'll do almost anything for a gumball or a peppermint patty. She'll wag her tail. She'll scream and yell, "Candy, candy, candy!"

Sandy just eats candy and refuses to eat her meat and veggies. She says, "Candy's just so good and sweet. It's all I wanna eat."

So, one day Sandy went out walking and her tummy started growling. She looked around for something sweet to eat but, Poor Sandy couldn't find any candy.

She came upon a banana tree, but Sandy walked around it. She kept on looking for something sweet and then suddenly she found it!

Her eyes were wide. Her mouth just dropped at what her nose was smelling. This delicious scent was calling her and she wanted it in her belly.

In the distance, she could see a factory and from it smoke was rolling. It was coming from the chimney top, along with that sweet aroma.

The closer Sandy got to it, the more her tummy growled. It's like it yelled, "Feed me, feed me, Sandy, I need my candy now!"

Then, she came upon an apple tree, but Sandy just walked around it. She kept on towards the factory and wasn't stopping until she found it.

Next, she came upon a peach tree, but again she walked around it. Even though her tummy growled, the sweet aroma kept her bounding.

Sandy was getting closer now. She could almost taste it. The vision of her chocolate dream was more vivid as she chased it.

As she kept on walking, she came upon a tree full of cherries. Just like before, she refused to gorge and again she walked around it.

Finally, she could see, the factory right before her. Her tummy growled much louder now, too loud to just ignore it.

After hours and hours of walking, Sandy had finally made it. She was so excited, she couldn't hide it and felt her tummy aching.

But, when she finally took a peek inside, Sandy was surprised, "There isn't any candy here. There are just rows, and rows of pies."
