"These dumpling sure are good" Zhongli gave a small smile. Childe returned the smile and tried picking up another dumpling with his chopsticks. His few attempts failed and he just decided to stab the dumplings instead
"I know right. My hands were shaking, trying to hold on to them. Thankfully you got it before it drops"

Zhongli who is sitting across from him was gently blowing his tea to cool it off a little while enjoying the peace of Liyue. He sips on the smooth warm drink while taking in the fragrance of the dead leaves

The comfortable silence was broken when Childe spoke "Xiangsheng, don't you think it's been too long since you've done anything interesting?"
Zhongli looks down at his tea and contemplated. It's true. After ending his 6000 years of duties as Rex Lapis, he hasn't been doing much since. Usually, he would wonder around Liyue and walk along the flower fields, talk to the animals around him and admire beautifully crafted antiques. Other than that, he would enjoy the day with Childe like right now

"Now that you've reminded me, I supposed I haven't been living an exciting fulfilling life as a mortal" He placed his tea cup down and crossed his arms, looking up to Childe's ocean blue eyes "What would you suggest we do?"

Childe hums while stabbing another dumpling and popping it into his mouth "Wanna rob a bank?"
The idea coming from the younger's mouth surprised the archon. He squinted his eyes and tilts his head trying to process it. Cute is what the Snezhnayan thought
"I couldn't really see a benefit for doing so and wouldn't robbing the bank mean you're robbing yourself Ajax?"

The younger shrugs "Zhongli Xiangsheng, you're already robbing me by all of those cor lapis, noticulous jades and other miscellaneous items you made me buy. Plus, since it's technically my money I'm robbing, it'll just go back to me and we won't have to face real legal laws (I think?) I'm fine with it. I'm robbing myself for my love"
The archon blushed at the first and last remarks. He thought about it for a while before finally agreeing to the idea. A little fun and adrenaline rush wouldn't hurt

They decided to take action at night where they're aren't many people and the only one working there is Ekaterina the receptionist. They wore all black with Childe wearing a hilichurl mask he got from exploring and Zhongli wearing a petra mask. Instead of using their real names Childe decided Zhongli would be called Zhizhi and he would be Fabuloso. Zhongli chuckled at how ridiculous it was and had to calm himself down several times

They quietly make their way to the Northland Bank's entrance and nodded at each other as a signal that they're ready. They kicked the door open, shocking Ekaterina who was not suspecting a sudden visit.
"Don't move and put your hands in the air" Childe said as he aims a bow and slowly walks closer to her.
Ekaterina squints her eyes and looks intently "Master Childe is that you?" She whispered. Childe broke into a nervous sweat and looked at Zhongli "Zhizhi why don't you go and grab the mora while I stand guard here" Zhongli just nods and head toward the vault at the back of the bank. When he is out of range and ear shot Childe whispered back to Ekaterina "Shh, just go along with it. Also how did you know it was me?"
