The door to the university's lab opened to reveal a blonde man with blueish-green eyes. He's sporting a white lab coat with lab glasses for protection.

The blonde man smile, when he sees the taller brunette hair man, standing in front of him

"Come in Zhongli" he ushered as he turned and walked over to his set of chemicals laid upon the table

Zhongli stepped in and closed the door behind him, following suit the Blonde man in the room

"Thank you again for assisting me to pay for my lunch today Albedo, Childe wasn't around to support me as usual. I'm glad that I can help repay you. What do you require assistance with?"

Albedo nods his head and he gently spins around the liquid in the beaker he's holding

"It's the least I can ask of you. Now I'm testing this new potion that can turn someone into a half-cat person. You know, a human but with cat ears and a tail?"

Zhongli raised an eyebrow "What brought you to want to develop such a potion?"

Albedo fixed his glasses with his middle finger. It glints a shade of white until you can't see his eyes even tho the glasses were literally transparent

"Oho, have you not seen nekos like the ones in anime? Don't you think they are pretty cute? That's the reason why I want to make this potion and you should be my tester as a way of repayment. Sucrose doesn't wanna help me out with this experiment. Something about it being dangerous"

Albedo mumbled the last part. The huge grin on his face made Zhongli squirm

Zhongli thought about it 'I guess it's only fair after he helped' his brain tried to find solace. He sighed and nodded "Ok then"

Albedo gave a thumbs up. He continued with whatever else he needed to do before handing out Zhongli a vial with pink liquid in it. The brunette gave the liquid a sniff before quickly pulling back from the bad smell. He hesitated and looked at Albedo for reassurance

"Don't worry, I can assure you it's safe. Maybe pull the back of your pants down a little or it'll be uncomfortable for your tail to grow"

Zhongli nodded and did as told. He took a deep breath and gulped the entire liquid in one go. He shook his head to get past the awful taste. Nothing happened for a while

Thinking that his experiment failed, Albedo sighs and was about to write it off in his notes when Zhongli grunts uncomfortably

Albedo's eyes widened and rushed to his side. Lo and behold, a set of cat ears and tail that match the colour of Zhongli's hair grew out

"AHA! A SUCCESS!" Albedo shouted and fists pump the air. Zhongli touched the appendages with shock. It actually worked?

He pulled out his phone and looked at himself in his phone camera. He can feel his face slightly heating up "This is demeaning... Albedo, please tell me how long will this last?"

Albedo rubs his chin and hums. Before he got to say anything else, the door to the lab slammed open. The two of them turned their head to see a mop of ginger hair

"Zhongli! I heard you were he-" His sentence was cut off when he saw the usually refined brunette sporting cat ears and a tail. We're they cosplaying or something? What the fuck
