Alexia and Lilah quickly run up the stairs to get changed into something nicer as everyone was in nice attire and she was in joggers and a crop top which Alexia personally loved more but had to look her best in front of the guests she hadn't seen in 3 years, she secretly hoped Mason would show just so he could see his face and how he changed since she blocked him on all social media.

As Alexia and Lilah returned down stairs a familiar voice was approaching the front door. Alexia froze and Lilah was scared what was about to happen. Was this about to be the moment she was dreading seeing her childhood bestfriend ...

A tall, toned brunette haired boy walked through the door instantly halting when he saw the blonde, ocean eyed girl he had always adored and found attractive ever since a young age.
"A" mason mumbled, "you look stunning"
He found it hard to process the girl standing in front  of him in a brown dress that hugged her figure so perfectly. There was no reply from Alexia which worried him, he knew she hated him but at least expected her to say something.

Suddenly speaking alexia replied after a minute pause, "Mase wow erm h-"
She was abruptly interrupted by a tanned brunette who followed in behind him, "You didn't even open the door for me Mason mount so fucking rude , do you even know who I am "
Mason quickly apologised "sorry Em!"

This made Alexia extremely confused as mason never let anyone speak to him like that and especially not swear at him. However, she thought to her self she didn't no this mason he was practically just a good looking stranger to her.

Once it clicked her heart sank, she questioned Her bestfriend, "Lials are they together?"
Lilah knew the answer was gonna hurt her friend but she had to tell her the truth "yes A for around 2 months, she treats him awfully but he wanted to moved on as she thought you did"

Alexia POV:
Alexia supposed it made sense that he moved on. Not knowing where she was, who she was with, if she was even still alive but in reality, she hoped he would always be waiting for her when she returned. He did the damage but she pushed him away, completely ghosted him which she knew would hurt him. Even after what he did to her it killed her and still does to this day knowing what pain  she might have caused him to feel.

Masons POV:
Mason pulled Reece James who was also at the party aside after Reece made a signal asking if he was okay. Mason talking nervously and quickly mumbled, "I - I loved that girl with all my heart and messed up by sleeping with some girl who meant fucking nothing to me and now we are like complete strangers and I'm never gonna get her back. She is still so stunning and the only girl I've ever honestly wanted but I hurt her and then she left me with nothing, I'm so broken man I- I think I have to leave before she sees me like this!"

Reece grabbed mason a drink and calmed him down which he needed. Not many people realised mason had that anxious side and it was only ever Alexia who could prevent that.
His confidence was on the rise again after downing more shots of tequila . Alexia could see him becoming more drunk but couldn't stand to be anywhere near him.

Alexia ran upstairs to go to the bathroom and something give Mase the urge to follow her, maybe it was the alcohol or maybe it was a dream that he couldn't pass up seeing and speaking to her again, either way he followed her.
