"Lost and found" x mason mount

Part 18 🤍

"Hi mase" the blonde girl spoke hesitantly. The pair stood for a while unsure of what to say knowing this was the make or break moment of there friendship once and for all.

Masons POV:
What am I meant to say to her. The only woman I have ever loved with all my heart is standing in front of me and I'm about to lose or keep her forever. I'm not sure if I could survive on this planet without her. She is all's I've ever known. We are soulmates, or so I hope. She made her way back to me and forgive me for hurting her already. I won't expect her to do it again, it's not fair. I know I need to expect the worst because if I don't it will be far too much of a let down. I just hope and pray that we can at-least end this relationship on friendship terms. There it is the same key word "hope" and for what I know that isn't very reliable!

Alexia's POV:
There he was. The boy who meant the world to me. The one who I couldn't live without, I tried once and look where that left me . ALONE and pushing people away who were only trying to help. His smile melts my heart and I couldn't live seeing that most days and not keep falling back in love with this boy. I certainly can't run away from my problems this time, I have way too much to lose. But he hurt me. AGAIN. I wasn't one to stand for that, I never was. My stubborn self sometimes can't help it. It's like I'm living with an angel (telling me to give him another chance) but a devil (telling me to never forgive him). which one I would choose, I was unsure my self. But one thing I did know, it's that my body's needs make it practically impossible to stay away from that boy. But would I be able to resist ?

"I'm sorry" mase said which broke  a long 5 minutes of silence. "I really am, I understand if you don't even want to talk about what our future holds , but I think it's best if we at least discuss it so we are on the same page A"

Alexia hadn't moved from the spot she was standing in, her back facing Mase not wanting him to see the look of sadness in her face. Was that it? Would she turn around ? Many questions were running through the boys head in the moment she never responded.

"Okay, I will talk but I'm still not sure we're my head lies with all this. I still love you but I also still hate you" Alexia replied hesitantly, Mase could hear the pain he caused just in her broken, shallow voice she let out that initially caused him to sigh in relief. Maybe this give him a chance or maybe it will break him more knowing he could have changed her mind and failed...

"What are we Mase, what do you want to be ?" Alexia spoke, wondering what his answer would be. For the first time after they kissed she was calm. Was this her sign to let go ?

"I love you Alexia, I've never stopped. However, I can't keep hurting you more and more it's killing me. Even though she kissed me, In the end it was me who hurt you. I just want you to say it's okay and forgive me so we can be together but that's never going to happen." Mase replied, talking extremely quickly Alexia knew he was so anxious about the whole situation.

"I know how much I love you and that will always be stronger than any feeling to leave you again. I couldn't handle it. But I also am not just walking straight back into this relationship with you after what you did. Im not a mug. my heart is shattered but it would ache even more if I walked away." Alexia said, knowing the words that just come out of her mouth were the truth and for that she was proud of her self no matter the outcome.

"Friends then A, for a while until you decide it's time you want to be with me in a relationship" Mase said calmly.

"Best friends M, I could never move on and love anyone else. I'm in this for you and only you. I just need to learn to trust you again. But I promise you mason mount, one day we will be married with children of our own, one day." This statement from Alexia was all's he ever needed to hear. Both were so happy that even if the relationship didn't come at this time they knew one day it would come at the right moment, and for that this put a smile on one another's face.

Mase swooped up the blonde hair girl and pulled her in for a tight hug. The feeling was a mix between comfort but also a place that felt like home.

Dec and lilah were stood outside the door, listening to everything the pair had said, feeling so happy the four could be united as best friends again. Declan opened the door scared for him and L knowing that Mase and alexia would be annoyed with him and lilah  for locking them in. "Run" Declan yelled, as him and lilah disappeared down the corridor in a hurry with Mase and alexia quickly sprinting after them.
