Troye's POV
---

We rush away from our room and sprint towards the foyer as quick as we can possibly go. When we get there, it's exactly 6:30pm, and everyone is already there.

"We... made it," Tyler pants, holding up his hand for my to high-five.

I'm too exhausted to say anything apart from "Yeah" and high-five him back.

"You two are seriously unfit," Joe remarks, laughing.

"Literally fuck off," Tyler retorts after catching his breath.

"Let's go!" Zoe cuts in. "Three in one car, four in the other. Go, pick."

Eventually, the group decides on Zalfie and Jaspar going in one car, and Connor, Tyler and I in the other.

Connor volunteers to drive, and Tyler and I both decide to sit in the back.

We're only driving for a little while when Connor speaks up. "Guys..." he says almost inaudibly.

"Yeah?" I say, my turning my attention from Tyler to him.

"I'm- I'm going to do it tonight. I'm going to tell them."

He doesn't need to clarify any further
than that for both Tyler and myself to understand.

"We're here for you. It's okay, they'll be fully accepting, I promise," I speak for both of us.

"I know, I'm just nervous I guess," Connor says. He isn't making any outright noticeable signs of nervousness, but I notice his hands gripping the steering wheel rather tightly.

"It'll be fine," Tyler reassures him.

He just nods, and I can tell that that's conversation over.

---

We arrive at the restaurant around about the same time as the others. We group together outside of it and then walk through the French doors.

It's beautiful. Breathtakingly beautiful. That's all I can say. It has luminous fairy lights strung all around place, all of which are glowing a warm orange colour. There are various different plants, all a stunning luscious green colour, some sporting flowers all sorts of different colours like baby pink, fuchsia, soft purple, aqua - you name it, it's there.

There's around three dozen tables, give or take a few, dotted around here and there.

"Bonjour madames and monsieurs."

I look behind me at the sound of the voice, and see a French guys smiling at us welcomely.

"Bonjour," Zoe says before any of us could say anything else.

(( a/n: Okay, I'm really sorry if any French I use here is wrong, I'm literally the worlds worst French student ever ))

"Comment ça va?" He asks.
(a/n: how are you?)

What?

"Ça va, merci," Zoe says sweetly. "I'm really sorry, but we don't speak much French."
(a/n: I'm well, thank you)

"That's fine," he says, giving us a grin. "I didn't expect you to. I'm surprised you even knew that much."

"So am I, to be honest," Zoe laughs.

The rest of the boys and I stand there awkwardly, not really knowing what to say.

The guy leads us over to a table that could seat eight, even though there's only seven of us.

After we've picked our meals - I can't even pronounce the name of the meal I'm having, I had to point it out to our waiter, but it sound delicious - we start up a pointless chatter.

"So, what do you guys have planned when we get back from France?" Alfie asks the table in general.

"I'm not really sure yet," I answer. "I don't know if I want to go home to Australia, or if I should go to LA or England or something."

"You should come to LA," Tyler says, and Connor nods eagerly.

"I'll consider," I grin at them.

"But if you go to LA, you can't come to England," Caspar pouts melodramatically.

"Aw, don't be sad," Joe says, smirking, patting Caspar's back. "The two lovebirds need their time together anyway." He winks at Tyler and I, and I blush deeply.

Everyone else answers that they are simply going home, so I zone out of the conversation.

Should I go back to LA after? I'm sure my parents would understand, they ship Troyler too much not to anyway. I think I might, actually...

"Troye!" Tyler voices cuts me out of my thoughts and I can tell by the way everyone's looking at me that that wasn't the first time he said my name.

"Y-yeah?" I ask, clearing my head.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I was just thinking," I answer, smiling at him. He smiles back, and everyone else just shrugs and continues with the conversation.

Around two minutes later, a cough interrupts all conversation. We all turn heads towards the sound. Connor.

This is it. He's going to do it. I smile at him reassuringly, and he smiles back weakly.

"Uhm- guys, I have something I've been meaning to tell you for a while now," Connor gulps.

"Yeah?" Zoe presses gently.

"I-I'm," he swallows nervously. "I'm... about as straight as Tyler and Troye."

There was a moment of silence, before Joe and Caspar burst out laughing. Connor shots them an offended look and Zoe gives them a death stare.

"Sorry!" Joe manages. "It's just- the way you said it!"

"'I'm about as straight as Tyler and Troye'," Caspar clarifies.

Connor grins, and Zoe places a petite hand on his shoulder.

"I'm proud of you Con," she says. "Coming out takes guts."

Everyone else's say stuff along the same lines as Zoe.

"Thanks guys," Connor says, smiling a genuine smile.

"Just don't get in the way of my OTP," Zoe says, jokingly jabbing him in the chest with her index finger. I know she's referring to Troyler, because she's said on multiple occasions that we're her OTP.

"Never! I wouldn't dare get in the way of the powerful Troyler!" Connor laughs.

Tyler meets my gaze and I grab his hand and squeeze it, shaking my head slightly. Tonight is Connor's night. We'll tell the others about our relationship another time. I hope my eyes portray that message.

Tyler nods his head at me, obviously understanding what my eyes say, and we turn back to the conversation just as our food arrives.
