I woke up to an empty bed and two notes on the pillow written in perfect, neat handwriting.

"I followed your rules like a gentleman this time Angel, I don't promise the same results tonight tho.. ;)"

'Mamon' (asshole)

I set the note down and pick up another next to it, "I have business to do, I'll be back later Del and Ell will be taking you to your apartment to pick up all your things, you already know why... anyway, I'll see you later Angel."

"Telling me what to do, I am independent and I'll be damned if I allow him to control me."

Just then the door burst open and in came Del and Estella... "GOOD MORNING GIRL!"

"Hi." I say while stretching and getting out of the incredibly comfortable bed.

"Go shower, you're coming home with me to get your stuff-"

"I'm not coming back here, Del you know damn will I am trained to protect myself I didn't need this."

"Hey, Kieran just wants to protect you.." Ell chimed in and I smiled at her softly, "listen, I appreciate this I do, but I can protect myself just as well as he can try to protect me." I say while grabbing the clean clothes Del handed to me.

"You know doll, Kierans never been this way about a woman... hated them ever since what happened." I nodded understanding.

"Well, as cute as that sounds for him to care I care about my freedom and I have work to do! Del, I can't just pick up and leave my clients high and dry."

"You don't need them! My brother and father probably pay you enough don't they?" Ell asks looking down to her feet, she's a very shy girl and appears to be very calm natured.

"It's not about the money Ell, I like my job even if it was forcefully pushed upon me, I enjoy doing it... and I'll be damned if your brother is going to step in and pull me out because he wasn't to "protect" me, I'm sorry but I don't need protection."

"I can handle it." They both sigh at the same time looking at me.

"As much as we both agree, woman power all the way... having Kieran protect you is a good thing, and anyways it won't be forever!" Del said while making herself comfortable on a loveseat in the corner of the room.

"That's not the point! I want to continue living in my space, doing what I do! Without him being up my ass. They didn't protect my father this way! Why me?!"

"Because he cares for you, and clearly you are a very good element to anyone's mafia." Ell said sitting on the corner of the bed.

"I get that, but I have a life to live-" I say while shaking my head not liking anything right now.

"I'm going to shower then we will go home." I said while walking into the bathroom.

"Don't take forever!" Del said while I got in.

We were now at my apartment and through enough persuasion from them, I am here to collect important documents and clothes I need.

"Hey, you need this? It's a fax from your secretary rivers..." Del pointed over to a piece of paper sitting on the tray for incoming faxes.

"Ummm, I don't know..." I say while picking it up and reading it.

"It's a file for a new client, Nicco Gomez..."

"You cant take it cara, you won't be able to see them."
