Chapter 13: The Tree

-Jc's POV-

I hear Kian yelling at Lizzie and rush to the front door to see what happened. All I see is Lizzie, holding her bloody red wrists and Kian backing away. I run up to Lizzie and scan her wrist. They have umm, maybe like more lines. No grip marks!

Kian is saying that he is a monster and I definitely agree with him. I look up at him to scowl him but Kian's looking at his hands.

Lizzie turns the knob and runs out the door, to God-knows-where. Again. I start to run after her but Kian puts his hand on my shoulder to stop me. A disgusted grunt just comes out of my mouth instead of chasing after Lizzie. I stomp up the stairs. All I hear before I slam my door shut is " Monster, I am a monster." After a few minutes of me telling myself that Lizzie doesn't always need my help, I figure that help is really all she probably wants right now. Then I hear a knock at my door.

I quickly got up and ran to the door expecting to see Lizzie, but all I see is a puffy-eyed Kian.

" What?" I mutter. Still keeping the door open, I walk back to my bed and slump down.

" Listen Jc, don't go after her please. She needs to let off some steam. I don't want anyone to see her first except me. I did this, I need to fix it." Liar. If she doesn't come back by 8 which is in 3 hours, I will either kill Kian or go find her. I'll do the important you first. Guess who's coming after you in three hours, Kian.

So let's wait. I set up the tripod and get ready to film a video. Not for my main or Kian and Jc, but for me. Well not for me particularly.

" What's up Lizzie....." Pause for about literally 2 minutes. " Jc here. And today I am going to be talking about memories. Of you and I. Let's start off by these." I said pointing up. I'll import those later. " Lizzie I just wanted to point out that you are the most important, amazing, wonderful, beautiful, smart, and overall the best person I have ever met. You are my best friend and I want you to know that you are probably the best thing that has ever happened to me. Stay strong babe and ignore everyone who says anything bad about you because you are perfect and in no way something they say, Bye babe, and happy birthday! Love ya Lizzie. Byeeee." I cover up the camera with my hands.

I start to edit the video when I look at the clock. It's only 7 and Still no sign of Lizzie. I'll go check early because I'm starting to get worried. Why didn't I go after her earlier? I should call her, maybe she'll answer. - Ring........... Ring.......... Ring...... R-

" Hello?" A voice said, but not Lizzie's

-Lizzie's POV-

I was in the bathroom crying when my phone starts to ring. Instead of answering, I kick it under the door for someone else to answer.

" Please, can someone please answer i-it. Please?" I see a hand pick it up and answer it.

" Hello?" She asks. " No this is not her--- she wanted someone to answer her phone for her--- no I don't know who she is and I don't know her--- okay I'll tell her, stay on." She tells the phone.

The lady knocks on my stall so I stand up and open the stall door slowly. I look up to see about a 25 year old- maybe 30 standing there holding my phone.

" May I ask what's wrong honey." I nod as I jump onto the counter. She jumps next to me and and puts her hand on my shoulder. I wipe away the remaining tears as I show her my wrist. She holds them up in shock.

" Tell me what happened, everything." I explained what happened and she got up and hugged me.

" Listen to me, everything is going to be okay, he didn't mean it okay. He was just, maybe he was just scared. Please go home and figure it out." She let go and handed me my phone.

Jc was still on the phone with me or with that lady or with, whatever.

" Hey Jc are you still on the phone?" No response.

" JC!" I yell into the phone. I can here a bunch of thing crashing while a big butted Jc fall. I giggle into the phone.

" Yea yea yup Li-Lizzie I'm here, right here." I laugh at him trying to act smooth. There was an awkward silence while the Lady gustered for me to go ahead.

" Lizzie can you please come home, I need you. I need to know if your okay." He whispered into the phone p. I think so Kian didn't hear that he was talking to me.

" There is one place that I will be. I tell you not, for you need to find me. I am behind the forests of tears, then you will find me here. I will wait for 30 minutes and you can't be there any earlier. Goodbye." I hang up the phone

" A riddle. Nice!" The lady says.

" Thank you again..." I hold out the word again to signal I want to know her name.

" Kelsey." She says

" Kelsey. Well my names Lizzie. I say hugging her.

" Here, give me your phone." I get out my phone and open contacts. I press the little plus button and put in ' Kelsey <3'

" it's 222-222-****." I thank her one more time before heading off to the park in my favorite tree.

I wait for him. It's been 38 minutes so I guess he didn't care enough for me. I start to climb down the tree when I see him sprinting through the bushes. And he's holding, flowers? Awe! He's so chićhe!

" my lady, " he says as he goes on one knee and hands me the flowers. I pretend curtsee

" Thank you!" I say with a right smile on my face.

" Are you ready to go home babe?" I nod and we start walking home. I stop right before we exit the park to open my camera. I start to kiss Jc and take a decent quality picture of us. Then send it to him, and not on the internet. I turn around and start running to the tree, hugging it.

" Thank you again tree." I say as I run back to Jc, jumping into his arms. I kiss him passionately and notice flash going off. I smile into the kiss and let go again. He grabs my hand and we start walking home again. Nothing can ruin this.

Oh wait, I forgot about Kian.
