[AUTUMN'S POV]
7 O Clock.
The morning of the first September was crisp and golden as an apple.
It was the beginning of the season.
The season I feared the most.
The season I'm actually named after.
AUTUMN.
It's the time when everything bursts with its last beauty,
As if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale...
It was a beautiful, bright autumn day, with air like cider and a sky so blue you could drown in it.
Fall had always been my favorite season.
But not until I turned six...
<flashback>
"M-Mom?" I whispered as I found no one beside me.
It was another beautiful autumn day.
The carnival was filled with people and things.
Kids and their parents were enjoying their rides.
They were happy.
I suddenly felt someone carry me from the back.
I couldn't see who it was so I tried to struggle out of the grip.
But the grip was strong.
"Leave me" I shrieked.
"Wanna go to your mommy?" a deep rather husky voice replied.
His voice sent shivers down my spine.
"Who a-are y-y-you?" I stuttered.
"Let's Go!"
<flashback ends>
I quickly snapped back into reality as my dad called.
"Sweetheart, did you wake up?"
"Yes dad I'm coming"
I quickly finished my morning routine and went to my closet to see what I could wear for the first day of my last year at high school.
I picked up an oversized brown hoodie and black jeans.
I looked at my mirror and tucked my short bangs behind my ear.
I still can't believe I'm going to turn 18 this year.
Gosh! 12 years had already passed and I'm still not over the creepy nightmares from that day.
I still need to find him.
But how?
Thinking of that day gives me goosebumps.
I sighed shrugging off the thoughts which filled my head like dark clouds.
"DAD IM HUNGRY" I growled gesturing my hands towards my mouth.
"Your breakfast is on the way" he chirped.
I smiled.
He was the best dad no doubt.
"So you ready for the first day muffin?" Dad asked teasingly.
"I'm more than ready dad" I smirked.
My dad knows me better than anyone else.
"Don't do anything bad on the first day hm? he spoke as he took a glass beside him and filled it with milk.
