M I N R A EMornings were supposed to be tiring and exhausting. It is when your eyes play games with you and your conscious asks to you stay in bed for another five minutes. The warm blankets are supposed to make you feel cozy and relaxed. There is a certain feeling in your stomach when you roll over the blankets and cuddle your pillow and maybe even daydream a certain fanfiction while you're at it.
And then you open your eyes to welcome the new day with a smile, or even an ugly drooling face was okay with me if it meant to wake up in peace.
I however, woke up with my entire face crashing straight on the stone cold marble floor, panicked at the dying scream I heard at five am from the living room. It took a minute for me to get up from my position and walk to the source with a possible broken knuckle and chin.
"What is going on?" I asked, rubbing my eyes lightly.
"How to eliminate this beast before it comes out of the big block" I walked in to find Jimin sitting on the couch, holding his legs close to his chest, pointing at the TV screen that now had Jurassic world playing on while he continued to flinch at every move of the enormous Dinosaur.
"Jimin, it's literally five in the morning. What is wrong with you!!"
Terror painted across his face. His eyes were big and round, not leaving the screen like his life depended on it.
"Hades should consider keeping one of these metal blocks at the entrance of the underworld. This is more terrifying than any of his dogs"
"How did you even turn it on?" I questioned with my hands grabbing onto my hair, frustrated.
The Demon took a moment to look at me, eyes filled with only confusion and questions. You could say its an immediate instinct, but I knew exactly what had turned it on.
"Move your fine ass please, while I grab the controller of the beast that serves the social media god"
I rolled Jimin's body away from the corner side of the couch to find the remote resting under his fine ass. "Social media god" Jimin started with a finger on his chin, looking clueless. "Never heard of such a God" he continued.
"Well, now you do. He is the slayer of all technology you see humans made"
"He must be very important"
"He is" I responded, sitting beside him. My sleep was ruined and there was nothing much I could think of doing at five in the morning either. So, I decided to fascinate this Demon out of this universe. And it all began when I started to change channels.
"You can control this beast with that?"
"Yes, but its harder than you think. I'm using all my strength to focus my energy on these delicate buttons" I teased, frowning dramatically at every button I pressed. Jimin looked convinced and he started looking at me painfully.
"This is also called the 'epitome of knowledge'. You will be able to understand humans better if you sit and watch this big metal block named television. She will help you readjust to this time zone and study human behaviors in general. So, let's start shall we"
I stopped the channel at a Disney animation named 'Finding nemo', and I eagerly looked over my shoulder to meet Jimin's face, waiting for his response in curiosity.
"I don't know what's weirder. The painting being able to move or the fish being able to talk"
Even in my sleepy and half open eyes condition, I couldn't help but giggle and rejoice at his clueless cute questions. I didn't answer but continued to change channels and it stopped at a zombie movie. He took a few minutes to register the zombie before commenting.
