The story of Circe is a rather sad one. As young she was neglected and not loved. Unlike her brothers and sisters, she didn't have powers. Circe's beauty was not something to be proud of either. The one thing that set her aside, was her fate. A fate some people would say she didn't deserve. A fate some people would call cruel.

Circe had a younger brother, who she loved just as much as fisher loves a full net. He was smart, good looking and he had a great future. This future did not contain Circe. So, their father, the great Helios. Former ruler of the Sun, and one of the titans to go help the Olympians in the great war, Sent him away to his own kingdom. And Circe would miss him very much. One day she met a boy. This boy would change her life. And after a while, she would fall in love.

Now Circe had felt love and the feeling of being in love for a while. She turned the one she loved from mortal to a god so he could stay with her forever. He was praised and loved by many, both titans and gods, Nyad's and mortals. Even Poseidon, the god of the Sea, one of the 12 Olympians, and one of the big three himself acknowledged him. Although Circe had no idea how she turned him, Circe had never been happier, but like every love story of two different kinds of people. This one ends in tragedy.

As time goes on her love meets Scylla. A beautiful Nyad who is said to be as elegant as water and as beautiful as the sea's treasures. Many people adored her beauty, one was Apollon. The god of the sun, and one of the 12 Olympians. The god who had replaced Circe's father. This boy who Circe loved was Glaucus. A boy who once was a fisher, and now a god. Then the idea came to him. Glaucus was not only loved and praised, but he was adored and had many suiters. One who which was Circe. The one that had given him everything he now had. But atlas he chose to marry Scylla.

Circe may not be as beautiful as the ocean, nor is she as elegant. What Circe is, is as dangerous as the ocean, and as elegant as a hunting lioness. And just like sea Circe has many secrets, which is yet to be revealed. No one knew this. And what Circe did, was never to be forgiven. Just like mortals don't like storms and tsunamis, Circe didn't like Scylla. She was afraid to lose someone she loved to her, just like mortals are afraid to lose someone they love.

Circe turned Scylla into a monster. A monster who belonged in Tartarus. A monster so hideous, there's no word to describe it. No thing to compare it to. A monster so hideous, that no person would ever willingly look for. She became the talk of the gods, titans and all creatures. As a warning. Something beautiful can become hideous in a matter of seconds. The thing that made Scylla so hideous was the fact that Circe had turned her just as hideous and ugly as Scylla's personality.

Circe was banished to an island. Forced to live all by herself. Without her love. Without her brother whom she loved so much. Without anyone. Forever. Until the day she got a visitor.
