Persephone sat in her garden in the underworld. Trees and flowers surrounded her. The only place in the underworld where you could see actual life. She was growing a flower in her hand. A beautiful rose, not like any you can see in the whole universe.
Maybe it was her happiness or maybe it was of sorrow. She was back in the underworld, back in her garden, away from her mother, but one thing was sure. She was happy as one could be. Standing up, she walks through her garden, to the palace. Her garden, she loved the sound of that.
A place where she could grow anything, a place he had given her. Making sure it was her. Persephone walked towards her throne. Carefully placed beside his. Two thrones, standing all alone in the back of the room. Ready to be seated on.
A soul came to her. A soul she knew. It was a young girl, a servant, Persephone's servant. "Your back your majesty", the girl said while smiling. She was genuinely happy to see her queen. "How was it up there", Persephone smiled and made a flower crown, placing it on the girl's head, "it was fine, I love the sun, but my mother is, well my mother". They laughed.
"My dear queen, there is a group of kids that are coming here in not so long". The little girl said while looking at a clipboard. "His majesty requested for you to meet them". Persephone smiled at the thought of her husband. He may be the cold ruler of the underworld, but he wasn't cruel.
"Lead them in Pandora". Yes, Pandora, the girl who was blessed with gifts fr Pandora nodded and made an elegant move with her hands, opening the big doors. In came a bunch of young kids. They all looked scared, sad, or a mixture between the two.
"Let me introduce, Persephone, the queen of the underworld and goddess of spring", Pandora said when the kids had settled down. Persephone stood up and walked towards her garden. "Come with me" is all she said. In the garden, they all sat down. She made fruit grow and let them all pick fruit. "Let me tell you some stories," she said while the kids ate.
The kids stayed quiet. "What type of stories?" a girl asked. The girl had long golden hair and fair skin. It reminded Persephone of someone she knew about, "Greek myths, what else?" Persephone said gently.
"Are Greek myths real?" a guy said. This guy had black hair and his skin was a bit dirty. "Well yes, I'm sitting here, aren't I?". "Does anyone know anything about Greek myths?". A girl started talking "yes, I have heard about you, and many other gods". "Let's begin with the one about a girl named Circe"
