Leaning on a tree, Kuai Liang watched his surroundings. Wind came through, creating spirals and waves with the leaves as it went along. At that moment, a chained spear flew in front of his eyes and a figure approached. Kuai's head jerked so he could face the newcomer. "My apologies. My instincts overwhelmed me." Scorpion looked around. "I never thought the Garden would return." "Hanzo refused to leave it in ruins and commanded every step of its revival. He even invited me here once it was completed." the ninjas proceeded in silence for a few seconds before a sandstorm rose and roared around them. Grains began to collect and form a body; soon, the wind relaxed and Geras stood firmly in its wake.
Sub-Zero and Scorpion swiftly took fighting positions. "I am honored to face the two most esteemed kombatants in Mortal Kombat history." "You are not welcome here, Geras. Leave or I will force you to." the spectre warned. "I'm afraid that is not possible." "Then you leave us no choice."
After some time, a blood smeared, charred Geras shambled from his adversaries until his back was pushed against a tree. "It is over, Geras! Return to Kronika or be slaughtered again!" "I... am not... finished." he huffed between breaths. Behind them, a portal of sand formed. In one deep breath, Geras charged at the men and shoved them through it.
