Linstead Fanfic - Lost

Hi there everyone!
Hope your liking this new idea for a story. Yes it is based off a movie (Blue Lagoon), this will probably be the last chapter of the story that solely reassembles the movie. Now only bits and pieces will match in with it, I just wanted a good base to start on. So Enjoy!

The teachers, Kim, Hailey, Adam and Antonio all stood talking to the police after it had been 2 hours of looking around the resort for Jay and Erin.

"She never made it back to the hotel?" Miss Parks asked the group.

"No. I thought maybe she was..."

Kim started talking but the police cut her off, "Was she drinking?"

"What's that have to do with it?" She snapped at the office, causing a disappointed look from the teachers.

"Was she with Jay?" They asked.

"What? No. Well atleast I don't think so, I don't know." She shrugged and gave a sad look to Adam who shrugged, he also had no idea.

"He was on the boat?" The police asked, jotting down information.

"Yeah he was but it's highly unlikely that they were together or hooking up. Even so if they were together Jay wouldn't put her in any danger and they certainly wouldn't be running off together." Adam spoke up.

"What makes you say that?" The police asked.

"For one Erin's father is a sergeant in the Chicago Police Department so she's been taught and bought up not doing these things..."

Kim wanted to continue but the policeman cut her off again, "That doesn't mean anything, kids tend to rebel."

She rolled her eyes, "Miss can you please tell them that Erin wouldn't do this."

"Look can anything be done to find them?" Mr Stevens asked, getting frustrated with the pointless conversation they were having.

"More than likely, they'll find you. This type of thing isn't uncommon. It's the youthful spirit of adventure." He explained.

"No, this is my best friend we're talking about. I know her. She has no youthful spirit of adventure." Kim said as she began tearing up, they weren't listening to her. She felt Adam's hand squeeze her shoulder, he was also very confused.

They were so close, been paddling for hours and they were finally in reaching difference of the island. As they got close those they were smashed into the rocks on the shoreline, "Jay!"

Jay grabbed onto Erin as they crashed into the rocks, he then grabbed the paddle and helped guide the boat onto the shore, trying to prevent it from tipping over.

Finally they made it onto the sand, they quickly jumped out then pulled the boat onto the sand, both falling down once they stopped, pure exhaustion but they were finally on solid ground.

After a few minutes of catching their breath Jay sat up and looked at Erin, "You okay?"

"Yeah. You?"

"Yeah. Think so." He nodded as he stood up, stretching out his hand for her to pull herself up too, she took it to his surprise.

She stood up and grabbed her phone, sighing when once again she had no bars, "No coverage. We'll have to find a phone."

"Great," Jay sighed then went back over to the boat, "Well, wait up."

"Come on." She said frustratedly, watching him search around in the boat, "Really?" He pulled out a flare gun and a couple flares, "Who's that for?"
