Mum and dad got taken about a week ago, and I'm still hiding in the old, small shed in our garden. The reason I'm hiding is 1. If the people who took my parents come back I obviously don't want them to find me and 2. I can't get put in foster care or something like that because I won't be able to find my parents and I have to find them.
I'm trying to find out what do do when I hear voices outside the shed. When I hear them mention something about my parents I edge closer to the door and open it a small bit so I can hear them better.
"Do you think they took them?" I hear a girl ask. The voice almost sounds familiar. That's when it clicks.
I step out of the shed cautiously.
There's a boy with messy blonde hair and striking ice blue eyes, a boy with dark brown hair and teal eyes and there's Sophie my sister. We look at each other for a second before I run into her arms.
"Sophie these people came and they took mum and dad." I explain
"Amy? How does she remember me?" She asks the other two boys.
They both shrug.
"Can you tell us what they looked like?" They teal eyed boy asks.
"Black long cloaks with white eyes on the right arm. They said they would listen out for thoughts so I hid in the closet and thought about nothing just in case" I answer.
"Um who exactly are you guys?" I ask both the guys
"Keefe Sencen at your service" the blonde tells me.
I grin at him
"Fitz Vacker" the brunette tells me
"Amy foster" I tell them both with a smile.
"So um Sophie we're gonna find them right?" I ask trying to sound confident but I'm failing pretty bad,
It's not that I don't have faith, because I know we will but I'm still a bit worried, I mean what chance do we have against the people I saw take them? Probably none.
"Yeah Amy we will" she replies with a smile. I can tell she's worried I mean I've known her for ages.
"Sophie stop doing that" I tell her when she starts to pick at her eyelashes.
She puts her hand down and smiles slightly.
"So you guys came here alone?" I ask
"No they came with me." I hear a voice from behind me say.
I turn around and see and older version of Fitz looking at me.
"Alden Vacker" he introduces holding out a hand.
"Amy foster" I shake his hand
"So um weird question but why do you look like 20 and your his dad?" I ask pointing at Fitz.
He laughs, "I'll explain later but I am most certainly his dad"
"So are we gonna go now?" Keefe asks
Alden looks at Sophie looking a bit sorry and then throws something on the ground. Something like smoke or gas comes out of it. I realise what he's doing and cover my mouth. I can't hold my breath much longer and I finally give in taking a breath of air before my vision goes black and I hit the ground.
