Chapter 2

My eyes flutter open and I take in my surroundings. I'm in a bedroom it seems, a MASSIVE bedroom, it's decorated in mostly blue but has other colours splashed about the room, I then notice Im  not alone. Everyone from earlier is standing at the doorway talking obviously not aware I've woken up yet. I prop myself up on my elbows and lean against the wall behind the bed. I move the sheet that's covering me and I dangle my legs over the edge of the bed.
"Hi guys" I say, deciding I should let them know I'm  awake.
The look my way.
Sophie runs over to me,"Im sorry for what happened I'm still mad at Alden for doing that, but I guess he meant good" she says while hugging me.
"Soph it's fine just a bit shocked." I laugh
She laughs.
"Who's room is this?" I ask
"Fitz's" she replies, and I blush thinking that I was sleeping in his bed.
I push myself off the bed and walk over to the others.
"So what's the plan?" I ask
"Plan?"they all look at me confused.
"Y'know to find my parents?" I clarify
"Oh"
"You have a plan right?" I ask looking a bit annoyed and shocked.
"Not yet" Keefe says rubbing the back of his head.
"Okay...what are we waiting for then?" I say
"Well Amy, our friend got taken too, so we have to focus on both just in case they only took them to distract us." Sophie explains to me hoping I won't be mad.
"What's the name of the friend?" I ask randomly
"Tam" she says
"Tam..." I say thinking, "Tam Song?" I ask
They all look at me shocked and confused.
"Yeah." Sophie replies
"Back when you were still with us, me and him were best friends" I explain.
My eyes tear when I realise both my parents and my old best friend both got taken.
I blink them away reassuring myself that we will find them. We have no choice but to. Their too important to me.
"How's Linh doing?" I ask
"She's trying to stay together for Tam" Sophie answers, obviously sad from the thought of Tam.
I walk over to the window and lean against the windowsill  and look out at the lake thinking about everything that happened.
Keefe comes over to me and looks out at the lake beside me.
"We're gonna find them y'know" he tells me
" I know" I say as confidently as I can muster.
I turn to look at him and he sees the tears in my eyes
I look into his eyes and he looks into mine. He wraps me in a hug and I hug him back glad to have something to hold on to.
"It's hard you know after everything that happened, I think the worst part was that I always remembered Sophie but my parents didn't. It was mourning for her on my own because she didn't exist in their lives anymore, that what hurt the most. I didn't have their comfort." I tell him a tear falling down my cheek
"You have her now, and you have us" he says to me hoping to make me feel better.
I respond with a smile.
"Thanks Keefe" I say
"No problem, I mean I couldn't leave you over here on your own no matter how cute you looked" he smirks and gives me a small wink.
I blush slightly and roll my eyes even tho I'm grinning.
