Chapter Six

We leap to a building, well a massive building.
And I recognise it almost immediately.
"Foxfire?" I ask him confused looking up at the school.
"Yeah Elwin works here" he tells me, as we walk towards the entrance.
I shrug and push the door to the building open, well try to because it won't budge.
Fitz bursts out laughing and doesn't stop for a while until he realises I'm not laughing.
I look at him pointedly.
"Well are you gonna help?" I ask him impatiently but a grin is creeping on the my face even though I try to hide it.
He replaces his laughing with a grin and puts his hands on the door and instead of pushing the door he pulls it. I then notice the sign on the door that says pull. I put my face in my hands embarrassed but I'm laughing all the same.
I look up at him with a blush on my face and he waves at me to come inside still a grin on his face.
"So who's Elwin?" I look up at him while we're walking.
"He's like a doctor" Fitz explains.
My face pales, I didn't like doctors, neither did Sophie I had a worse phobia than her though. Usually I would pass out before seeing one so all appointments were a surprise for me in hope I wouldn't pass out or get sick.
I breathing goes a bit shaky but I keep walking shaking slightly. Fitz looks at me and notices my breathing and shaking and my extremely pale face.
"Hey, you okay?" He looks me concerned.
"I-I um y-yeah" I stutter.
"Elwins nice I promise" he looks into my eyes with confidence and truth.
I smile at him weakly and as we reach Elwins room, I put my head in my hands and breath deeply trying to calm myself down.
I look up at Fitz and nod slightly. He takes my hand and we walk in.
The room looks nothing like I'm used to. And there's a man sitting in a chair not facing us. He turns around when we enter. He has wild dark hair and grey/blue eyes. He looks pretty nice.
"Hey Fitz, who do we have here?" He smiles
"I-I'm A-Amy" I stutter.
He notices my breathing and my shaking.
"You nervous?" He asks me kindly looking in to my eyes sincerely.
"I-I yeah I normally h-have passes out a-at this point. I have a p-phobia of doctors" I tell him.
He takes my hand and Leeds me over to a bed and a sight down. He sees my pale face and smiles,
"It's fine" he reassure me.
"Now what happened?" He asks me
I lift my shaky arm and twist it so my wrist is facing upwards and he can see it clearly.
He winces and looks at me.
"Looks painful" he says
"Yeah" I reply my stutter gone as I feel more comfortable.
"I don't know how your not even crying that's a bad burn" he tells me his eyes still glued to my burn.
"I mean I've had worse" I say a sad smile on my lips.
Fitz looks at me surprised and a bit sad but I just give him a sad smile.
"Well you must be pretty brave if you've gotten worse" Elwin laughs.
Elwin uses an a red orb and flashes it over my burn.
He then flashes to blue and then yellow before he looks up at me.
"Not too much damage, I'll give you a few ointments you should apply for the next few days just to keep it from getting any worse." He explains to me.
"That's it?" I ask amazed.
"Yup" he laughs," what did you expect?" He asks
"Usually I get jabbed with needles or something liked that, always painful" I shudder
"I can see why your scared of doctors now" Elwin shudders.
I smile at him.
He applies a few different ointments on my burn and gives me everything I need to use before saying goodbye to us.
Me and Fitz walk out of his room and walk down the corridors of foxfire again.
"So what happened when you were younger?" He asks me curiously
I look at him sadly and he sees it because he suddenly says, "Only if your okay with it you don't have to" he blurts out.
I laugh at him " it's fine"
"I don't really remember much that happened expect me and Sophie were talking and it turned into arguing. We were shouting at each other and then I was in so much pain. I was begging for it to stop but it wouldn't. It felt like I was on fire and knives were stabbing me. I was crying and shaking but it didn't stop. Then I passed out. I woke up in my bed and I figured it was a dream even though it felt so real. I know it was real because I remember it so clearly especially the pain" I shudder."I never talked to Sophie about it though" I tell him.
He looks so pained thinking about it. He looks at me and his eyes are filled with guilt and sadness.
"I'm so sorry that happened, you didn't deserve that" he says sadly.
"It's okay, it's over so I'm fine" I smile at him.
He hugs me and we leap back to Everglen.
