My alarm rang.

I jumped up from my bed in cold sweat.
My body felt heavy.
I hadn't had a nightmare this bad in a long time.
I felt like crying and throwing up at the same time but still made my way to the bathroom to wash up and head to school.

Exams will start soon and I still haven't studied even though my brother told me to start early since even he struggled with them.

After eating breakfast I packed my things, rushed out of the house and grabbed my bike.
I rode through the beautiful streets.
It was almost end of spring and everything smelled so amazing just like laying in a field of flowers.
Today it smelled like Buttercups to be specific.
I loved those flowers. They were not only beautiful but also Moriah's birthflowes which made me love them even more.
My mom was really into things like Astrology and soulmate stuff and got super excited when she realized I had already found mine in Moriah.

Close to one of the busiest streets of my village I got a message from Theodore.
He was asking if I was okay.
I didn't know what he meant by that since I was pretty much on time but still tried to type a message back with one hand, eyes on my phone.

A loud noise and my body felt numb.
I felt like I got hit by something.
Maybe a car.
Yet I was fine.
I was driving down a different street, looking around, I noticed it was a really pretty street.
Many people were there an they were talking, some seemed panicked while walking around in the billions of flowers.
The streets was very long and on the sides were flowers of all colors.

After some time I noticed the street didn't belong to my actual route so I decided to slow down and walk my bike.

My phone didn't seem to be working.
I started of by just following the street but then dropped my bike and walked through the flower fields.
No destination and no end in sight.

The water sprinkler that was watering the flowers slowly started drenching my clothes and started to walk faster.

Now I was running as fast as I could.
I was running through the huge fields covered in flowers.
I could feel the water dripping down my bangs.
I felt like I had already been running for hours until I suddenly stopped next to a girl sitting in a field of yellow flowers.
The girl was picking the flowers and she was slowly formed a small bouquet.

She turned to look at me.

„Mori?" I asked in disbelief, „what are you doing here?" I slowly sat down next to her, still staring at her while watching her pick the flowers.
She usually never got distracted on her way to school so I decided to not disturb her.

„Mori what are you doing?" I finally asked again, now concerned over why she was picking such a huge amount of yellow flowers.
„They're for you Lyn, a present" she replied.
„Well thank you but why so suddenly? Did I miss my birthday?" I chuckled before laying my hand onto the top of her head.

„No." Moriah replied.
„The flowers at your grave are withering, Lyn."

And this is how I lost her.
