chapter twenty-four, Jealous?

NOVA MADE HER WAY OUT THE DROP SHIP and to Octavia's tent.
Before she walked in, she took a deep breath. "Octavia?" Nova calls out, waiting for an answer "Yes, come in" Octavia greets back before clearing her throat and Nova enters the tent.
"Are you okay?" Nova asks hesitantly and Octavia chuckles and nods her head. "Yeah, I'm okay. Are you?" Octavia asks, interlocking her and Nova's hands together.
"Oh- Yeah, I'm good" Nova answers before Bellamy waltzes in the tent, Octavia quickly removing her hand away from Nova.
"Ugh, What do you want?" Octavia asks rolling her eyes, laying back on her stomach. "Are you okay?" Bellamy asks and Octavia furrows her eyebrows in confusion and sits back up.
"Why is everyone asking me that?" Octavia asks looking between Bellamy and Nova who glance at each other.
"Did you touch Murphy yesterday?" Bellamy sighs and looks back at Octavia who shrugs. "Um-" Octavia stutters out and Bellamy sighs, getting angry that she's not answering fast enough. "Did you touch Murphy!?" Bellamy asks again starting to get irritated and raising his voice a bit.
"I guess why?" Octavia asks before Bellamy begins to explain. "The Grounders sent him here with a virus to infect us. Derek just died from it, another mark for your boyfriend's book. Get up. Clarke needs to examine you" Bellamy says nudging to the book poking out from under Octavia's pillow then leaving the tent. Nova puts her attention on the book and looks to Octavia.
"You should get to Clarke" Nova says sort of hostile before leaving the tent with Octavia trying to grab her arm. "Nova!" Octavia shouts but Nova doesn't listen and makes her way back to the drop ship.

ONCE OCTAVIA ARRIVED IN THE DROP SHIP, she immediately looked to Nova who didn't even glance at her once. Clarke quickly began examining her while she sat down.
"Okay. We're done. No visible signs of swelling or bleeding" Clarke says and Nova lifts her head. "So, she doesn't have it?" Nova asks clearing her throat.
"I'm just saying she doesn't have symptoms, but that could change. We need to keep her here just in case" Clarke states and Bellamy shakes his head pointing around the drop ship at all the other sick individuals.
