NEWSCASTER: THE DISPUTE BETWEEN THE TOKYO MANJI GANG INTENSIFYING, UNINVOLVED CITIZENS FELL VICTIM TO THE DISPUTE. AMONG THE MANY VICTIMS, THERE WERE TWO FATALITIES, THOSE TWO ARE 25-YEAR-OLD TACHIBANA NAOTO AND 26-YEAR-OLD TACHIBANA HINATA.
Y/N was in shock. At first, she didn't believe the news. For her, the demise of her best friend was not acceptable.
"Hinata? Tachibana Hinata?" She mumbled.
Tachibana Hinata. Her best friend. The only person she cared the most.
She stood numb in the grief of her friend and the guilt of not giving the last goodbye made her uneasy, she covered her mouth. Thinking this will stop her tears.
Only if she was in contact with her.
Only if I was with her. Only if we were still holding on to that friendship. She thought to herself.
This news was more disturbing to her as she distanced herself from everyone.
She was so indulged in her monotonous life even though they were friends she didn't contact her after high school.
She was eaten up by the feeling of guilt.
she shut down every door, every connection with her friends as she was too goal-oriented back then. She grabbed her cell phone and finally opened years old texts from her best friend.

Her tears were dried by now.
she decided to take a leave. It was her first leave ever in her career, now she realized how much time she wasted just on getting a degree still can't help her friend.
She felt selfish for not reaching out to help her.
She spent the whole day in her room locked, without having a meal except breakfast.
Spending her whole day in her room, she felt her belly empty, as her stomach growled.
"ugh, I think I should eat something," She said annoyingly while rubbing her forehead as it was aching a lot.
She was not in the mood of cooking something so she decided to eat outside, grabbed her keys, locked the door, and drove to her usual spot.
Y/n pov:
It's nearly 11:00 pm so the restaurant was empty only a few were there.
"Hey! How can I help you?" The waitress asked?
"A free table please and my usual," I said with a warm smile.
