Liam was at Lyncon's house two days after the fight. The fight was on Friday, and just was Sunday now. He lay shirtless on his bed. Liam was eating animal crackers while playing video games. He suddenly leans over and puts an animal cracker on Liam's stomach. In an Australian accent he goes, "The great gazelle lopes through the dry plains. Through the crevices of nature." Liam starts to laugh. "A beautiful creature, it is."Liam laughs as Lyncon kisses Liam on the cheek. And Liam goes back to gaming. In a moment of silence Liam says; "I fought him." Lyncon slowly turns toward him. "Now why would you do that? You could get in trou-" Liam interrupts him. "It was off school grounds, so it's fine." "No, Liam. His mom could call, and he could unleash rumors of us across the school. This could be bad. This could be very bad." Liam thinks about it and a realization dawns on him. Shit. He thinks.

TIME SKIP

That morning, Liam goes to school, quaking. Has anything happened yet? Do they know anything? Is Lyncon  okay? Is kuper at school? He had too many questions and not enough awnsers.he makes his way into 1st period, FACS. (family and consumer science.) And the teacher tells everyone they are making French toast. Liam is pared up with two people, a girl named Olivia, and a boy named Dominic. The three start to make the batter when Liam gets an idea. He asks Olivia, "Can I be in charge of cooking the toast?" And she accepts. Then Liam throws the toast on, with no grease and waits. And waits and waits and waits. He then carefully slides out a pan cover from the cabinet and places it on the pan. He waits and waits some more. Then, he opens the pan lid all at once and slides it back in the cabinet. Thick, black darkening smoke practically floods the pan. Then releases out into the room. EEERCH. EERCH. EEERCH. EERCH. The sound of a fire alarm blares and echoes in the halls. Everyone in the classroom flees without even thinking or looking at the pan. The perfect diversion. Burnt French toast. Soon everyone is flooded outside in the hot sun, wondering what went wrong. But, to Liam's suprise, they only stayed outside for fifteen minutes. As they went back inside Liam trudged and moped back in. A few class periods later, the guidance counselor walks in and asks for him. She had thin, pink silvery lips with Blush on the apple of her cheek and extremely thick eyeliner and clumpy mascara. Her hair was dyed blonde but her thick black roots were showing. A mole stuck out on her upper lip and she dressed like she was stuck in 2016. She had a side part with and infinity scarf and skinny jeans. Definitely a late millenial. As Liam walked down the halls, his heart beat so fast in his chest it felt like a bass line in an R&B song. She told him to go sit down in the Assistant Principal O'Connell's office. Anyone knows if you've ever gone to public school ever, going to the Assistant Principal's office is ten times worse than going to the actual principal's office. The principal was an overweight man, balding in his thick black curly hair. He was black and had big freckles all across his face. He wore a black jacket with brown shoes and a white button up shirt with a red, black and grey sideways striped tie. As he slowly trudged in, he sat in his leather chair over his dark oak desk.as he sat he folded his large fingers. He seemed to settle, to spread in his chair. He sighed and scratched his head. "Supposedly you messed up. Real bad." Liam stared at the posters and trinkets on his desk rather than speaking back. "Well, I'll tell you what kid, if you tell me what happened honest, you will get off easier than if you lied to me and told me something that isn't true." "Well..." Liam said hesitantly. "While we were hanging out after school, we got into an arguement. He got so mad he hit me on the back of my head. I fell to the ground and saw white light. I tried to push him off me but I pushed too hard and accidentally pushed him down into the small ravine that was about 40 feet deep." Mr. O'Connell sat there and listened. "Yes, your story checks out. But if you did something wrong you might as well confess now. He pulled out a shiny peice of paper out if his desk and shone it. It had black parts too. He made him look at it. "You know what this is?" He asked seriously. "It's an x-ray, sir." Liam replied. "And it's from kuper. He has four cracked ribs, one fracture in his skull and a broken nose. He's currently in the hospital, unconscious. You sure you didn't do anything?" He asked. Liam gulped and tears stared their come to his eyes. "He- was still angry with me that night. I dragged him out of their ravine and layed him there. He was still- cursing at me. He might have blamed it on me. And if I did it, it was off school grounds." "Technically, you are correct. But you should've gotten help or at least apologized. You know he lost two quarts of blood?" "No." Liam was full out crying now. "I'm calling your mother and you're suspended for the rest of the day. Point blank, period."
