Ares POV:

When I saw her I knew she was different.

I had Just entered the bar when i saw her. She wasn't like the other women I was attracted to.

She was small, about 5'1, had long black hair with some highlights in a messy ponytail, she was dressed in semi-baggy clothes with bits of clay and paint all over her.

She then lifted her land and raised a finger. I started to get agitated, when she used a napkin as a bookmark, closed the book then look at me.

I almost gasped, her eyes were such a beautiful shade of green that I'd never seen before.

Then she spoke,

Then she spoke,

"So sorry for that, I was reading a really good part and I just couldn't stop." - ???

Her voice was like a lovely song with a light British accent. I never wanted to stop, it was even better than the 9 muses.

"I just finished an art piece I've been working on for weeks and I came here for a bit of a break. I don't really have any friends here in America, and my son is spending the rest of the week with his Grandmother. Sorry, I'm talking too much, what's your name?" - ???

I was stunned that she was so open to me, when we don't even know each other. I quickly regained my composure and responded to her.

"My name's Ares, beautiful. What's your name?" - Ares

She blushed a little when I called her beautiful, I grinned.

"My name is Rose, Ares. Very nice to meet you, I'd offer you a drink but I'm only 20, would you like a sip of my soda?" - Rose

I almost gaped, here I was trying to flirt with her and she's flirting with me, I swear she had a sultry smirk. I leaned forward took the straw into my mouth and finished her drink, she blushed again... Cute. We spent about 3 hours talking about everything and nothing. Our families, our hobbies, our favourite football teams, her son Teddy, a few of my kids. When we finished talking it was almost 11pm, and we went to the motel across the street.

When we woke up the next day, she was laready making lunch. I ate and I told her I had to leave for work and she understand. She gave me this knowing smile and gave me a ceramice bracelet.

"So you don't forget me." - Rose

I was shocked, I had nothing to give her to remember me. As if she could read my mind, she told that I already had. I had no idea what she was talking about, but I found out the next time I saw Rose which was 9 months later.
