Last Day Together

10 Years Later....

Rose's POV:

These past 10 years have been bliss, watching Claire and Teddy grow up, it feels like it was just yesterday they were little kids asking to me to come play with them.

Now? Now they're already grown up! Teenagers!

As I woke up, I woke slowly, sun shining, birds singing, food burning.... FOOD BURNING!?

I immediately sat up and ran to the kitchen, and the stove was on fire with Teddy and Claire tugging a fire extinguisher back and forth.

"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON!?" 

They froze and the fire extinguisher fell out of their hands as I screamed and I silently and wand less cast an aquamenti to put out the fire. When they unfroze a few seconds later they looked at me, themselves, and then back at me. 

"IT's ALL HIS/HER FAULT!" - Clarisse & Teddy

They both started rambling really fast and I could barely hear what they were saying, but I could guess what they were saying and doing, blaming each other for what happened.

"Theodore, Clarisse please tell me what happened. I'm not angry, I just want to know what happened, Theodore answer me please"

I asked Teddy because I know it was probably his idea, Teddy usually starts these things with good intentions, but it usually always ends badly and Claire usually tries to help.

"Well Mom, we wanted to make you breakfast because it's your birthday" - Teddy

I noticed his hair slowly turned into a dark shade of pink for embarrassment.

"But we overheated the oven and added too much pancake mix, then we blamed each other and you know what happened next. I'm sorry" - Clarisse

It was then I noticed what a big mess they were. They were both covered in pancake mix and raw egg, along with some foam from the fire extinguisher. 

"Ok you two look ridiculous, go clean up yourselves"

It was 10 minutes later that they actually went to go clean themselves.

It was moments like these I'll treasure because they really are growing up. Teddy will be about to go to Hogwarts while Claire will have to go to that camp soon too. I'll be so lonely when that happens. 

The Next Day....

It looks like Claire finally woke up, it seems that it's the time to tell her and send her to that camp.

"Claire come here"

"Mom? Did I do something wrong?" - Clarisse

"Darling do you remember asking me about who your father is?"

"Yeah, you said that he was an army veteran who was called back and died in action" - Clarisse

"I need to tell you the truth, your father wasn't an army veteran who died in action"

"Then who....? Why isn't he here then!?" - Clarisse

"Your father is an Olympian God" 

"What!? No way! Their just myths!" - Clarisse

Lighting boomed

"Claire, I am telling you the truth" 

"But, why couldn't he at least have visited?"

"As your father is one of the gods, he is bound by some rules. They are called the Ancient Laws they have been around longer than even him"

"And?" - Clarisse

"The Ancient Laws state no god or goddess may interfere in mortal affairs, that includes raising their child"

"But why couldn't he just visit?" - Clarisse

"He may be able to however if he did that your scent would increase and more monsters would try to come"

"But now that I know...?" - Clarisse

"Know that you know you scent has increased. It's time to send you to Camp Half-Blood"

"But am I allowed to come back? Or will I have to stay there full time?" - Clarisse

"That's your choice, I just hope that I'll be able to see you again before I die"

"I promise, you'll see me before you die" - Clarisse

"Now take this bag, you should know everything that's in there. Now go Clarisse go to the North shore of Long Island that is where the camp is" 

"I got it" - Clarisse

And just as she was leaving the door I said to her.

"And remember Claire. You are Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Rose La Rue, daughter of The Ancient and Most Noble House of Potter, daughter of The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, daughter of Ares God of War and Violence, Blood lust and Rage"
