The radio played as I turned on the car waiting for the boys to walk out of the house. As they walked out they both looked panicked. As they should be making me wait, I told them 11:30 it is now 11:40. I'm gonna be late for meeting Kai, he doesn't appreciate it when I'm late.
"I told y'all 11:30!" I yelled as they got in.
" I know I'm sorry, I couldn't find my swimming trunks" Kade says as he hopped in the back of my jeep. I found that statement weird because the boys only went swimming when they were meeting girls because other times at the country club they were golfing.
"What girls are you going to meet?" I ask him lookin throw the little mirror by my eye.
What do you mean? We told you we are going to meet up with kelce." He said confused.
"No, you're meeting girls." I said looking over to Rafe in the passenger seat.
"How the fuck do you even know that?" Rafe asked, looking over at me as if I looked him in the eyes right now I could blow up his head.
"She's a fucking wizard!" My brother yelled as he clutched his chest.
"No dipshit she's a witch, wizards a dudes." Rafe said, looking back at my brothers. Trying to dodge the question.
"OH SHIT! I should know that after all those years she forced me to watch Harry Potter!" My brother said throwing me under the bus for my nerd faze.
"Hey, those movies are cinematic masterpieces!" I yelled trying to justify it. Laughing a little
"But stop dodging my questions" I yelled to both of them. But no one answered so I decided I had to do things the hard way. I grabbed rafe by the ear while staying focused on driving.
"WHO ARE YOU TWO MEETING?!?!" I yelled while pulling his ear as he whined.
"OWW ATHEN! FINE! We're going to meet a girl named...lily!" he said when I finally let go of his ear.
"Ahh so am I gonna meet her or..." I said questioning them.
"No!" My brother yelled
"Well sue me for wanting to know stuff bro god damn" I said back kind of upset he was being so secretive.
The rest of the ride was quiet. They both knew I was upset after what kade said. No one talked until we made it to the country club.
"Athe-" my brother started
"Don't" I said getting out of my jeep
"Bro just let her cool down" I heard rafe say as I walked away completely done with both of their bullshit. These are times I wish Sarah was here.
As I made it inside I was Kai waiting for me outside of the dining area. Looking handsome as ever wearing black cargo shorts with a dark green polo shirt.
"Hey baby, sorry I'm a little late the boys wanted a ride but took forever to get into the damn car" I said giving him a kiss
"They always do that. They're gonna need to start finding their own rides." Kai said, looking serious as he tucked a piece of hair behind my ears.
"Yeah they really do, let's not talk about them tho let's go get something to eat!" I said looking up at him.
He grabbed my hand and we walked in to be seated.
Rafe POV
As I watched her walk away I felt bad about not telling her why we are meeting this girl. She was someone who was trying to help us out with the little Kai situation...
