EDITED: Chapter One:
The floor seemed to disappear around me, and it felt as though I was falling through the air. My eyes flew open and I only had two seconds to realize that thats exactly what was happening before I landed on something...or somebody, if the yelling and cursing coming from underneath me were taken into account.
"I'm sorry! I am so so sorry!" I scrambled around trying desperately to get off of the person. Once I'd managed that feat, I glanced at him, noticing how handsome he was before looking around us. Three other boys stood not ten feet away, one looking relatively serious while the other seemed to be having a hard time holding back his laughter and the third just seemed curious. The one that looked to be holding back laughter looked so very familiar, and his name popped into my head as I stared at the boy who I knew couldn't be the person I was thinking of yet they looked much too alike to not be at least related.
"Harry?" He looked at me as if I was slightly mad, before opening looking up and down my body, as if trying to decide if I was worth replying too. He apparently decided I was if the opening of his mouth was any give away.
"My name isn't Harry, it's James. Now, care to explain what you were doing falling from the sky? Fall off your broom, did you?"
"Where am I?" I purposely ignored his question, knowing that I was a horrible liar and I wasn't sure how to explain what was happening to me or what had happened. I thought I was going to die but suddenly I'd wound up on top of a man, looking at a man that looked just like my friend Harry Potter.
"Hogwarts. Did you hit your head or something? You do know what Hogwarts is, don't you?" I nodded absentmindedly. I'd ever seen these four boys before, and they were all wearing Gryffindor but they looked a lot older than the ones we were supposed to be wearing, they looked like they were from the seventies.
"I know what Hogwarts is. I want to take to Severus Snape, where is he? I must find him immediately."
Find me. My father's words echoed around my head.
"Snivellus? What could you possibly want with that git?"
"Don't talk about him like that!" How dare these imbeciles talk about a teacher like that! Who do they think they are? He was a professor, and one of the best men that roamed this place, he deserved respect!
"Hey James, doesn't she remind you of Lily?"
"Yeah, always protecting poor little Snivellus." They mocked me for a few moments while I just stared at them in disgust. Bullies, thats all they were, and I was disgusted to even be seen talking to them.
"Are you going to take me to him or not?"
"Not." Three of them said, smiling like they'd just made the funniest joke. The other one, however, nodded. He had shaggy black hair, and eyes that sparkled with happiness and mischief. He was tall, and I realized he was the one I had originally fallen on. The handsome one.
"I'll take you."
"Thank you." I replied as I glared at his friends, before I followed his lead and walked away, not bothering to look back at the imbeciles who were still snickering behind me.
"I'm Sirius, by the way. Sirius Black." What did he just say? My eyes widened as that name whirred around in my head. Sirius Black would have been the same age as my father, so he'd have been in his late thirties, however this man was my age. I knew for certain that we didn't have another Sirius Black in Hogwarts, the only one who existed had been killed just a year ago.
"What...year is this?"
"You must have hit your head pretty hard. It's 1978."
"Hehe." I chucked nervously, fervently hoping that this was all some extensive joke or a dream and that at any moment, I would wake up. But it wasn't, and I didn't.
