Luckily I moved away from Cy quick enough.
Having Mum know about Cy was...not a conversation I wanted to have with her at the moment."Supper time girls. I made Chicken Curry."
Curry? Just the sound of it made my mouth water.
"The spicy kind?"
I asked, getting all excited."Ehhh...afraid not love. Robert doesn't do Spicy. I bought the sweet curry instead. I hope that's alright with the both of you."
Of course. Robert. Scottish freak. Not that I had anything against Scott's it was just that...ever since I knew he started hanging around here I didn't like him.
But if he makes Mum happy. I gotta put up with him...just until he leaves. Then I can eat all the Spicy Chicken Curry I want!"S-Sure. C'mon Cy."
Before leaving the room, my mind managed to click.
"W-Wait. Are you even able to eat?""I am capable of consuming just about anything Mistress. However, taste is something I am unable to identify for the time being."
A bit relived I grabbed her hand again, this time gently as I lead her to the table.
Mum's cooking wasn't as near as good as Noodle's but it had a nostalgic taste to it. So of course I enjoyed it. Spicy or not.
"So."
Robert began.
"You're name's Cy? Is it short for anything? Surely not Simon."Cy just gave him a look. Sliding closer to me in her seat as she scooped a fork full of chicken and rice. This was...honestly the first time I've seen her eat. Anything.
"E-Eh...its a C. Not an S. It's short for...Cy...rus. Cyrus. Y-Yeah."
I corrected him quietly. Knowing well that if she spoke they'd probably kick her out.Mum seemed to perk up a bit.
"Oh? What a coincidence Sia's birth na-OW! Shit love ya didn't have to kick me. Li'le cunt."
I only shook my head at her and wrinkled my nose in disgust and anger. Something she PROMISED. Swore down to never EVER even think about calling me that name again. Birth certificate or no. Nobody was gonna say it."Ey?"
Robert looked at the both us. He better not even dare or-"Nothin' shut up!"
"Sia!"
Mum snapped at me, giving me a 'behave' look.
"Be nice!""Sorry. Just don't want it to be talked about."
Mum sighed and everything managed to settle however Robert just kept on poking and poking at Cy. Asking her questions, and staring her down. It was getting annoying.
"Not much of a talker 'ey Cy?"
I watched him smirk again.
"Strange because I strictly recall you wanting to share another story about our lovely lass here. What was it, something that happened recently...what was it? Something to do with her room? Ah, you found something of hers right? What was it?"I looked over at Cy who seemed tense as she glared at him with her typical honey eyes. Taking one look at her and one look at him. Was he trying to provoke her? Quickly getting up she left for my room. I stood up from my seat, setting my fork down.
"Is somethin' wrong love? What's up with her?"
Mum frowned a bit as she ate her Curry. I wanted to tell him to Bog off for doing that. Making Cy control her temper is like making a fly sit still when you're trying to swat at it. Hard to control."S-She's Just Shy...I- I'll go talk to her."
Making my way to my room I shut my door, standing behind it so nobody could come in.
"Hey...are you alright.""I strongly dislike him."
She looks at me. Her fists clenched as she looked at her feet, staying seated on my bed.
"Something about him seems negative."
