Elias was at the airport waiting for his flight to be called. He was tied up on Instagram scrolling through some pictures on his iPhone. When the PA System came on to make an announcement:

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, Flight 2706 to Paris, France has been delayed until the next morning due to technical difficulties. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Then the PA System turned off.

He stood there unprepared and unbelievably confused at what the woman said. "God, guess I'll be stuck here until morning light then." he mumbled and looked annoyed and skeptical. Elias pulled out his cell phone and dialed Esther's phone number. He calmly waited for a few moments then she finally answered at the third ring.

"Hello Mrs. Hathaway, it's me. Yes, I believe I'm going to be stuck here for a few hours. My flight to Paris got delayed and I am stranded here at the airport by myself." he said through the line despondently.

"Yeah, okay… I will try my best. Bye." he ended the phone call and sighed.

Elias stood up and started pacing back and forth. Thinking of another way to fly to Paris. But he has no choice but to stick to his guns. He sat back on the bench and began to read a book instead to pass the time he had.

At short notice, a slim man sitting across from him with his brown luggage in his hands sitting across from Elias in the empty departure hall. He looks exhausted from all the walking he did. He took out a newspaper from his backpack and decided to read it. He looked up and greeted him nicely.

"Where are you off to?" the man in a suit asked as he flipped through the newspaper vehemently. He was sitting across the bench before Elias.

"I'm on my way to Paris. Where are you heading to?" he asked politely.

"I'm traveling to Italy. I went to a conference in Rome for three days. Yeah, personal reasons." he smiled. Suddenly the PA system went on to make an announcement:

"Ladies and gentlemen, Flight 0198 to Rome, Italy it's now ready for boarding, please approach Gate B for departure. Thank you."

"Well, that's me. I should make a move on… nice meeting you today buddy. Safe travels…" he said as he stood up and shook his hand generously. And then off to his said gate vigorously.

"You too." he replied and looked at the man desperately.

Elias sat back on the bench and began to continue with his reading.

The just risen sun shone softly on the city streets of Paris, bringing with a flurry of early-morning activity. Camille was on her way to grab some breakfast at a local bistro down the streets. She wore her pair of sunglasses and steadily made her way to Le Consulat that was located in the center of Montmartre.

She took a seat amongst the crowded customers and calmly called for the waiter to take her order. "S'il vous plaît!" she called, raising her hand in the air to catch the server's attention.

A man saw her and quickly made her way to her table. "Bonjour Mademoiselle. Bienvenue au Consulat. Qu'est-ce que vous-voulez manger?" The waiter demanded in a nice voice.

"J'sais pas. Il y a beaucoup de plats à choisir. C'est tellement dur. Mais quand même, quel est le plat du jour?" She asked, flipping through the menu eagerly.

"Ben, notre plat du jour… Nous avons du pain perdu avec du miel, du croque monsieur et des pâtisseries. Vous-voulez quoi?"

"Ok. Je voudrais un pain perdu avec du miel, et pour des boissons, je prends une tasse de café au lait s'il vous plaît." she ordered closing the menu and give it back to him softly.
