November 15th 2019.
Today was the last task. Everyone was on the former quidditch pitch, which was now a large maize. As the teachers explained the rules I realized we were going to see much of what was going to happen. Meaning we were all just going to sit and chat the whole time. The cannon went off before Dumbledore could finish and the contestants rushed into the maze; the bushes closing behind them.
Half an hour or so has passed and nothing has happened yet. "I'll go get a drink, you want one luv?" He stood up from his seat. "Yes please." I smiled. He returned the smile before walking off to get the drinks.
While he was gone I saw a little spark in the maze, meaning one person has been defeated. The question was, who? I hope it wasn't Cedric, that's who I was cheering for.
Theo got back and we drank our drinks. Few minutes later we saw a green light. I got a little scared of what just happened, the teachers said nothing about a green light, it looked like someone was shooting a spell.
Minutes and minutes later we saw Victor and Cedric return. The band started to play. Only Cedric wasn't moving. I realized what had happened. "He's dead… he died!" Victor shouted. Everyone fell silent, Dumbledore quickly rushed to the scene.
