He tapped his fingers against his glass, anxious. Aether stopped at Dawn Winery for a drink, Y/N was caught on his mind again. He couldn't stop the thoughts about her, her beautiful hair, her dazzling eyes. Aether was probably in love with the poor girl. He didn't expect to find someone like her so soon. Then he suddenly thought back to the bouquet. Who could've sent that to her? Does she like the gift? Is she looking for that person at this very moment? Aether didn't really expect feelings back from her, but he somewhat did.

"Having trouble with something?" Diluc asked, filling a glass of wine for another costumer across the bar.

"No no, it's..." Aether sighed heavily. Diluc understood.

"You're in love, aren't you?" The bartender asked. Aether perked up and shook his head.

"No no! I can't be! I don't even know why you'd ask such a thing!"

"Trust me, I've been in love before, I know what someone looks like when they have the symptoms, and for Barbatos' sake you've been here for 6 days! Calm yourself, give yourself time about this person to truly find out your feelings, invite them somewhere or just have a conversation with them," Diluc started to clean a glass with his hand. "It's that simple. Don't be like me. Don't be foolish and stal- stupid. Don't be stupid" He fumbled a bit at the end, making me curious on what he was going to say. Aether was just waiting for him to tell him what he was going to say, but he never did such, so Aether continued the conversation.

"No, it's... It feels like a connection, like she-"

"Oh, it's a girl. Girls are quite confusing emotionally. Specifically when they show you signs that they like you, but then treat you like a friend the next day"

"Yeah, but, she feels like... I don't know..."

"Well if you don't know then don't sob over her, now I've got to head out, my shift is about over" Diluc grabbed his coat then headed out the door. Aether tried to get more words out of him but Diluc just ignored him, and continued leaving the winery. Aether groaned and banged his head on the counter.

"Why do these feelings have to be so confusing?" Aether grumbled. No one else was in the Winery so it was about time that Aether left.

Aether walked down the street, the ground all wet from the rain earlier today. The moon looked down at Mondstadt's people and watched over them as they slept. He walked passed the Adventurers Guild and put near the fountain. He saw Y/N there, a flower in her hair. Aether thought back to Diluc's advice.

"Hey Y/N" Aether smiled and sat beside the girl on her left side. Y/N looked over to him and smiled.

"Oh hey Aether! I haven't seen you in a while!" Y/N put her left hand down beside her, almost touching Aethers thigh. "How have you been?" Aether sighed.

"Good I guess, just uh... Little anxious" Aether scratched the back of his neck.

"Why?"

"Well..."

Aether told Y/N everything that had happened when he wasn't here at Mondstadt, and what he was here to do. Y/N's eyes glossed in tears, feeling empathy for the poor boy. Aether was crying himself. Y/N didn't like seeing him cry. Y/N wrapped her arms around him, hugging him with all her might. Aether stopped for a moment. He took in this scene for himself.
